Ok I asked the question, and got the answer ........ so now Im just going to slowly step away from the people talking about Fishheads, and bubbleheads and keels and the like ..........
Well done Kate, fantastic result!!! Hope you're enjoying a well-earned rest this week
My sock was stuffed with zombies on Saturday, and unfortunately I got infected and i'm now technically un-dead. However, I don't think this is an excuse to do nothing (sadly), so back on to the sock-stuffing wagon this week. This week's stuffing includes 4 runs, 1 walk, Tai Chi, group exercise class, start of new weekly PT session and maybe a swim just to add to the mix
I'm also attempting to stay off wheat - I find it hard to stick to, though I don't feel brilliant when I eat it, so i'm tackling the wheat-addiction demons this week. I think that'll be harder than getting all the exercise in!!!
Done naff all today gonna get some serious Sh!t tomorrow and stuff my sock to capacity my initial aim to get in the pool is gonna get back on track otherwise i will be starting Nice training with my usual woeful swim ability
I've been procrastinating quite a bit this week It's my youngest son's fault. as it's getting close to XC he wants me to take him out training (he's only 10) so I have but kept the runs to 2 miles and when Ive been getting back I have developed a bad case of CBA's! Tonight I am taking him to the gym to introduce him to the treadmill, eliptical and cycle. I do think I should get 10/10 for being a supportive mum though
40 so there 40 lenghts in a pool is a big deal for me i have a real problem with boredom gonna up it by 10 every session and stick at 100 over winter working on getting better technique I was actually enjoying it today
Doing lots of core and strenght stuff as well hopefully itll give me a good base to train for a (relativly) fast IM Nice
Little plod out this morning, and will see how the arse feels tonight when I put it on a spin bike. Might even try a few lengths to make sure I haven't forgotten how to swim.
Thinks Kate is trying to challenge Lucy Gossage for the nickname Duracell Bunny.
Post IM is the time to eat, drink and see all the people you've not seen for months. I understand they're called real-life friends. Chill out then get back in slowly.
I stuffed my sock yesterday with a 3 mile run before work and a hard group exercise sesh in the evening. Didn't sleep very well because my right hip flexors are tight and sore and kept waking me up! Only got a 1.5mi run to do today, then rest day tomorrow, thank god, and sports massage in the afternoon which will undoubtedly be agony, but worth it. I have a feeling I may need to start getting them more regularly, lol.
I managed to get up a 6am again! I usually fizzle out by Wednesdays, I celebrated with a slow 5k run and a banana, if I manage it tomorrow I don't know what I'll do.........probably the same, although may replace the banana with a full English

Don't worry, this morning's run was just to sweat out last night's bottle of wine a collect the car as I'd dumped it to go boozing and eating.
yeah make sure you get enough rest Kate
