Shouted an "Arggghhh" across the car park at Tatton Yule Yomp 10k today at a pirate! (Very nice medals)
Me and the boss are pirates-in-waiting, signed up for Outlaw next year.
Would have come over for a chat but I was still getting to grips with breathing normally after the slippery conditions.
Anyone we know?
That was me Kev
Well done yesterday - the conditions were awful. Thankfully I was in the sports hall whilst the hail storm was in full swing, and conditions had cleared up considerably by the time my lad was racing in the 3k!
Morning Pudge - one positive yesterday was the fact that the wind/rain/hail appeared to have more effect on the 'runner shaped' people than myself.
Hope your lad enjoyed the 3K (my boys were still festering in their pit nursing hangovers when we got home).
The boss was a minute ahead of me (I'm claiming mild man flu for that) but pretty happy finishing about 250th out of a 1100 runners (OK that includes a few hundred fairies, countless elves, wonder woman and a ruddy snowman).
Dr NM - that was me, on the way home from a trip out to Thaxted and Samford. was a nice ride until I turned for home and realised how much the wind had got up.
Well today I was in a car waiting for you to make it through the lights!
But I have started getting out more & will need to even more after xmas as I seem to have entered IM Wales (was doing Bolton but a family wedding scuppered that)
So come on... fess up... who shouted at me yesterday as I was pacing at a local 20 miler on the Thames path? Great spot as I wasn't in pirate gear, but didn't turn quickly enough to see who it was?

Does look like one of those black and white photo's with a yellow colour effect.
Cant argue the kit doesn't stand out
great picture
Brilliant... he knows how to stand out from the crowd!
Another from the NBC coverage...

As long as you finished in front of the guy dressed as a 300lb turkey.
You did, right?
I have got feelings Pudge!
I wasn't even dressed up - It was cold, I had goose-bumps and that was a wrap to keep me warm - not supposed to represent cooking foil!
Podds??

Are you out on the bike much?

DR NM - Drop me a PM if you want to gave some company on longer rides after Xmas.

So who was at Kingsbury Water Park Parkrun on a bike on Saturday?
