Well done andy. Out and back is soooo hard. One of the things I like about racing abroad is the routes are very scenic. Sometimes scenery is the only thing that keeps me going.
I've done Paris full. There were no toilets at the start only open urinals for men. Ladies were crouching down and peeing on the roadside. The course isn't all fenced off so you would get kids on their bikes and scooters riding along side you. I also had an a man running along side me talking to me in French. That was a bonus, it was around the 22 mile mark so it made me pick up speed to get rid of him.

Thank you al for your messages - really kind.
I did it, not my best marathon, but I did it. I have a glowy face (no suncream ) and don't ache too much today.
It was a tough course, lots of out 'n' back, but great support.

I never did Paris, logistics too complex. But I did think about it, the route is something else.

Morning. Do Paris not do a half?
947256
Paris do a half, or they certainly use to. Around about March I believe.
