I'll be on the supporters' side of the barriers now - run at the weekend confirmed I have too many aches and niggles to do it safely, so I've deferred.
Sterling work as always SC sorry I can't be with you at the 'Chute this year but with me best mate on a GFA I'll be seeing him to the start and then making my way straight to Birdcage Walk to stake out a good spot.
I shall keep an eye out for any RW runners from there though, no fear! I shall be shouting my little head off no doubt.
And, of course, we shall be heading to the Chandos after where I'll probably split my time between Fetchies upstairs and RW downstairs
This is such a brilliant idea, credit to you gals and guys - I think it's too late (?) to say "count me in too!" but I look forward to seeing the banner and smiling happy people over at mile 17.
Slightly off-topic, but I was wondering if anyone with local knowledge would be able to suggest a vantage point for my other half and our 3 year old (and the little 20+ week old bump that mum is carrying) somewhere between miles 13 and 17 along the course? They've got to get from King's Cross station in the morning over to somewhere along the course (to tell me to hurry up!), and back again fairly quickly - but I've not really much of a clue as to how accessible the course is from a lot of the LDR stops along the way, or how crowded each point will be.
Thank you for any and all advice - always appreciated on here!
Not too late HomeBrew as we support each and every runner. If you spot us say hi. We have a myriad of aids available. Tons of sweeties and jaffa cakes and coke and beer. Never refused to help anyone.
Well except those runners on their phones 'I'm just comming up to mile 17 now, yes, the crows are making rather a lot of noise, I'll ask them to be a bit quieter...'
I love the idea of beer en route - but I'll be very glad of a friendly wave
Do people really run while on their phones? Headphones are distracting enough without trying to have a conversation with an invisible person! If someone had a bluetooth headset, they'd be easily spotted - the wide berth around the person having an animated conversation with themselves would be noticeable.
Amazeballs. Thanks Bear. Nothing needed in terms of gels, just a cheer will do so much for my energy levels. Where will you be at the Expo - will come and say hi. I'll be there Friday probably between 5 and 6.
Top supporting everyone. Was great to get a boost there just when my levels were flagging. You helped me get my GFA - so shall we do the whole thing again next year ? Hope you had fun. We went down to cheer some of the 6 hour plus runners in and it was quite emotional.
Well done to everybody. Particular thanks to the volunteers that helped me this year. As many of you know, I've been very ill over the last year and I would have struggled if I hadn't had the help of so many people to do the physical work for me.
It would be great to see some of you next year, whether running or helping out on the other side of the fence.

There is always space for more supporters on the day
I'm coming from Australia. Will leave a bag of stuff, including balloons and decorations, at the Expo when I go there on Wednesday. Is this ok??
That would be fab Charlie

Is it too late to be added as a runner? I've been a mag subscriber for a little while but not really used the forums!
It won't be Mr Turner SuperCaz will allocate you to a group as soon as she sees this
Great news, I'm travelling down on my own so knowing there is support at mile 16 will be ace! I should be at the Expo on the Friday too.

If it's not too late - can I be added to the list?
I'm running for Action on Hearing Loss - will have Dazzer in black on my blue vest.
Expect to be doing 10.15 to 10.30 minutes/mile
So will be at mile 16 around 1pm, bit later if it takes a while to cross Start line.
Hi,
You're welcome to join us. Just drop what you want at the Expo and label it Group 1 - with a bit of luck you'll get it back on the day!!

Will just be at the Expo briefly Friday afternoon to collect stuff so will not see you until THE DAY! Good luck.
Weather not looking good
it's looking great!
I would bring my big umbrella but don't want to be carting around London for 2 days
currently not looking too nice for supporters... I would find a spot near a pub (showing it on tv).
Hi SuperCaz
I should know this but I cant remember - what time will you be arriving to set up for the day?
Hi, just wanted to say a big thank you to all the supporters, you did a great job.
A special thanks to Hog-mouse for my drink - I managed to grab it and it definitely helped me to get my time of 2:58:08.
Was my first marathon - see you again next year
Thanks again !
Amazing El. Well done. You looked so fresh as you passed us.
I didn't want to stop, it was lovely to see you as I ran past

Lovely seeing you all yesterday and really appreciated you giving up your day. You were all lined up in a row when I got there. It made me smile
It's because we were hanging onto the railings after inbibing fizzy.
OMG... that made me laugh x
You guys are such a great bunch.
