oh MrsD lack of sleep is awful, I go through bouts of it and it is exhausting
long long day at work today so nothing today - I am hoping to be able to get up early for a run tomorrow as I won't be able to do the longish run I had planned for tomorrow evening as we have a policeman coming round (youngest son was assaulted and had his glasses stolen outside school a couple of weeks ago )
didn't get up and run this morning because I didn't sleep much. Sports day at school today, and 15000 steps just walking around school all day marshalling/cheering on etc. Good outlaw training!
Didn't run this evening, tidied up in anticipation of the police coming to the house, then they rang and said they had been diverted to an incident in Ollerton and would be busy for a while, so will happen next week sometime. We did report it to school - they have been rubbish, I asked for an appointment to see the head, didn't get one. I am going to let the police take over - they have been into school a few times about it and now have the cctv footage of the area/time the incident took place. Son is feeling happy that the police are involved and that someone is doing something - but the school have been terrible and fairly negligent I think
No bike or run today as i've got a chesty cough which started after my OW swim on thursday so managed to do some weights, core and HIIT training in my garage. Feeling a bit better now.
Done nowt so far. Looks like I'll just be squeezing in a shorter ride on the cyclocross bike later (probably ending up at the pub...). Bit achey after standing around in the shite weather yesterday, as had to stand in a slightly awkward position as it was my job to hold a gate open on the run course.
long run today, despite the humidity and heat this morning, I really struggled but it is done. I did 14 miles this morning, then I really needed to eat so went home, ate, did the shopping, did some gardening, watched the end of the tour de france and did another 6 miles this evening. All run/walk, but I reckon I have done enough to get round, but it will be a slow slog!
Good weekend on the training front, swim and run yesterday, swim and bike today. Now it's chill out week ready for the drinking games at the 226 weekend. ????
4 miles run today in the rain and felt great considering I've had a cough for a week avg pace 9:15 m/m which surprised me as it didn't feel any faster than the other day.
Myself and Horse are now making up a relay team with Duda to take SA's place who unfortunatley cant make it, we now need a stupid name for our team to reflect our stupid trio.
I appear to be coming down with something. Brilliant timing. Resting until it buggers off, rather than risk further problems over the next fortnight...
Mine's building up. Snotty nose, dodgy throat, and today seem to have developed aches and pains everywhere, even my fingers. Nothing too severe but it's just all over and making me feel like I simply can't be bothered. So how's that different to normal, I hear you ask...

Maths, hope your son is ok, if it was bullying get into school and report it and make sure they do something about it.
Mrs D, try hot chocolate or Horlicks before you go to bed is might help you sleep.
MP enjoy your brick session, I need to get some running off the bike done.
Good effort anyway Razor, keep it up.
Didn't get up in time this morning, so going to do it a a proper brick this evening. 1 hour turbo straight into a run
I have done no training, think it is extreme tapering for Ride London, all the road signs are up now so it is getting close.
Which means I'm not training and am instead drinking beer and debating ordering a filthy pizza. Been one of those days and it's called for!

Sorry to hear about your wee one Maths, hope he's ok.
Decent weekend. Swim and run yesterday. Bike today. Not too much as have 226 bike next weekend.
Anyone race this weekend?
MP - well done for braving the elements this weekend. I am sure there were some very grateful people
Razor - keep an eye on that cough. Plus, you don't fancy a swim at Outlaw do you?
IT appears SA is attempting the round up some volunteers for a team on the Outlaw thread.
You would HAVE to come then

Good effort, well done!
I know for a fact I can get round the bike, as I'm fitter than I was last year. But it's going to be grim.
Good work Digger!
Mrs D, are you looking for a swimmer and a runner?

yay, razor will be great to see you!
I am rubbish at thinking of team names. MrsD is good at it
Top running Razor! Be good to see you and Horse at Outlaw, haven't seen either of ya since Manchester Marathon!
Yeah it will be good to see you too mate, save us a space at the campsite.
