@Osman2007 if you want to move up pens you need to do it at the expo, you can’t do it on the day.
Correct. Come see me at the Point Info and I'll slap a sticker on your bib with your new pen colour. I'm there today and tomorrow, my colleagues can do it if you come on Saturday. I'll be volunteering at parkrun Bois de Boulogne on Saturday.
On Sunday I'll be with the Let's Run Paris cheering squad at mile 22 (between 35-36 km) in the Bois de Boulogne. We are a Paris based group of international runners. You will hear us before you see us!
Nightmare scenario - I have been packing my stuff to leave for Paris and have mislaid my medical certificate. I went to Dr Tap private GP to see if they could sign it and they refused because they said my blood pressure was too high. (I was pretty stressed.) So I don't have a med cert that allows competitive running. I do have one that allows competitive cycling though! Not sure what to do, but it looks like I may as well not go now - particularly given the train hassles. I was due to go to Paris tonight. All that training for nothing! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.
Good luck to everyone heading for Paris this weekend, especially the first timers. Still my favourite marathon, I’ll be really missing it, but I’m on my way home from Two Oceans in Cape Town at the moment so popping over to Paris seems a bit extravagant... Don’t get carried away with the downhill at the start, remember to look at the scenery and enjoy it, and eat your body weight in croissants on Monday morning . *waves to PC*
Yes good to hear from Running Rodent & Scarlet Pimpernel- both names I know from the past. Thanks for Reminding me 3PC0- I'm a bit slower these days but hopefully we'll both make the podium at the bar again
Had my last run tonight pre race- all in the lap of the gods now. See you soon folks.
Hi all - good luck for tomorrow! Any clues how long we should leave to get from the Metro to the pens (ie are there long queues for the bag drops etc)?

Just at the expo and ready to run now!
Good luck tomorrow all.
JM94 - yes, you can start in a pen further back than the one on your number, but not further forward.
