Manners ceal, I nearly forgot, meerkat, thanks for the brill cake, just what was needed. Also thanks for the champers, was that you JJ? That was essential.
Not a good day for me but great to see so many of you guys there still as I slogged past. I almost quit at half way but the thought of you guys waiting in the cold and damp kept me going.
Thanks again to Meerkat for exceptional organisation and to Fat Buddha & Petal for a much needed hug. Also great to see other familiar face too.
thanks one and all, nearly missed you in the crowds and was only attracted to you by a couple of indian braves (well one brave and a pert little squaw) walking backwards drinking Stella, thanks for the snogs, jelly babies and the drink.
Had a loostop at 16 miles and felt really good from then on.... was going to stop and meet you guys but then realised I'd just run past you all and couldn't face running back.
Had quite a good run... much better than anticipated.
Looking forward to doing nothing for a week ( am so sore that I don't think I could do anything!) and then in 3 weeks we're taking the kids off in a campervan for 3 months.
Well done all our runners! We had to pitch up a bit before our normal patch, as the water station had nicked it. But hope we managed to see many of you. Brilliant to all who got pbs - and well done to all finishers.
MANY THANKS to all supporters - top team!!! You are brilliant and make organising support very easy. Here's to FLM 2005!
Well done everyone and big thanks to UM for organising everything. It was really good to see the race from a 'supporting' point of view. Good to meet a few more forumites too, albeit briefly for some of you...
Highlight of the day had to be my other half asking why the front running ladies all appeared to be called Sophie...then it dawned on me everyone had been shouting for Serpentine 'Serpy'(needless to say he spent a good part of the race in ASDA cafe!).
Thanks to all of you who turned up and supported us in such vile weather.
The huge cheer you all gave me really made me feel good.
Special thanks to whoever gave me a bag of jelly babies and ignored my protestations that I only wanted one. I was glad she did because I finished the rest of the bag along the embankment. I sure it helped.

just gotta work out my route to the red start from Morden and lay out my kit and I'll be free to fret for the rest of the night.
Nice to meet Hipps(again) Plus others at the expo today. Hope you all have a blinder tomorrow-runners AND supporters.
One question...when they say put the vaseline on with a trowel...do they really mean slap it on EVERYWHERE?
Thanks in advance and enjoy your dinner.
Lady L - I'd trust JJ with champers anytime!
See you at Mudchute!

Pity about the rain and cold, I am so pleased I wasn't running 26 miles today. I am sure I would have been cold.
there were masses of poeple there and I
do not think I spotted anyone - and then
I was past it ?????

Again thanks to meerkat who organised us all so well - you're a star <<<<<big hugs>>>>>
I've just about warmed up now - and I can feel my toes at long last!
Apologies to any of my lot who I missed

I hope you have a good run!
