Mind you it was not as bad as tonsils which i had removed when I was 24, that was a really horrible experience they only give ice cream to kids they gave me toast!!!!
Good morning everyone! Johnny- sympathies to your daughter, I'm still waiting for that to happen to me. Did you know that they automatically whip appendixes out of all space-bound astronauts just in case? Maggie- I had the tonsils out early enough to forget most of it, but my poor mother at 52, my sister last year. Not fun. RE builders: 2 fingers say a lot, not good if it's a long-term building project!
JJ good news, make sure she keeps her feet up for as long as they say she should.
Moomoo there are no builders on the North downs way just walkers, runners and bikers, generally a friendly bunch ) Up until the last few days we have been early enough to see noone else most mornings but the good weather has people up earlier!
Maggie- Lucky you! I'm waiting for the clouds to appear a bit later so I can have a go at running in the park. Can't stand strenuous exercise in the sun (too many years of it in a desert climate!).
Noooo JJ! I don't want any cool weather. It has been lovely this week and I really like running in the sunshine.
Moo, i was brought up in a warm weather and I can't get used to the cold. What is your secret? I love these hot days. During the winter it takes a long time for me to warm up and I feel rusty.
Sounds like you have had a lot of fun out of your DSC-P5 camera. The Sony I had before it was stolen was the model where you used floppy discs for pics. Its a pity its gone but it is best to move on and I reckon this DSC-V1 will suit me to the ground.
Are both Ceal and Walkman away on holiday? I don't remember them saying they were gonna go, must have missed the messages then!
Ran tonight at 6:30 still pretty warm out there, plenty of midges - yuk!!!
Run was probably 30 secs a miles slower than normal, but kept HR much lower than normal below 130 for most of run normal its in the mid/high 140's. So a pretty good run i think.
JJ We have raised about £700 at the last few jumbles and are known in the area for our good quality!!
I find it extremely good cross training and generally end the day exhausted! The men in our lives have volunteered to cook though, so that will be nice )

Hi Maggie!
JJ, best wishes to your daughter!
I like the hot days but not for running, it suits me fine early in the morning though.
Glad to hear your daughter is okay now.

Ran today in the afternoon sunshine and nice coolish breeze. 6 miles including warm up and down. Fastest mile lap was 8m.46s.

Did 5½ miles
Run strong.
Bullfinch
Everything seems fine
I just get paranoid at times
Those winged beasties add to the fun ....

Perhaps a new training session ... Flie Fartlek.
