ah dodge, your posts are worth looking at the scary eyes for!
thanks for the email moomoo
tactical eating before the social would be a very good plan for me, cause i can't come to curry night on the 5th - I'm racing (yippee!) first race in months - wish me luck
either way, I'll hopefully see a lot of you at the social
Got up to 20 mile runs, then got a knee injury with six weeks ago, did feck all until two days before, quad gave up the ghost at 16 miles, and I had to hobble the rest. Would have been about 4:15 otherwise.
I went for a 125cc one - you need to do a CBT course to be able to ride them though. The 50cc ones are rather frustrating as they only go up to 30mph.
Doing the course was great as it gave me the chance to see if I enjoyed it or if I'd hate it, before spending the dosh. It cost about £100 and was a really great day. I was hooked. I pick it up Wednesday - can't wait to not have to take the feckin' trains anymore. Except when there are socials on!!!
Look, I know it's hardly worth having a Not a curry night if I'm not there, but come on lads and ladesses.- Surely you could have made more of an effort :-)
l_p, without you, life (or at least the not-a-curry-night) seems utterly meaningless!
Who else but you and Alex can furnish us with the latest news from Ramstein?
By the way, I'm going to see Tears For Fears tonight! A little bit different musically from Ramstein, I think...
...anyway, will try to make the next not-a-curry-night. Bottled it over the social last Friday. Didn't know many people, find those situations very tricky.
Went and got trolleyed at the Crobar (mad goth/metal pub in Soho)!

If you want to meet for a bite to eat before the social, we could do that.
But please sort out those red eyes, they are imprinting on my brain, I'll get nightmares!
;-)

Get less busy soon.
5:03 - shame it wasn't sub 5 but the fact is I bliddy well finished it and ran the whole way. I'm dead proud of myself.
Good luck annajo.
and you can always go back next year to do sub 5
I did just 5 hours my first time, and then did 3:54 next time )
actually thats very inspiring, fruity - i didn't know you did a 5 hour marathon first time round?
missP-what are you coaching for ?
The longest I have ever run for is about 3 hours 20 minutes! I just can't image keeping running for that sort of time.
Repect!
oh
what do you mean it was cancelled?
Yeah - knee. Different problem tho - first time was 2000 and it's ben fine since.
I has bought a moped now as well )
I need the lowdown - quite fancy one, but then I do still need a car. Hmmm. Need a bike too.

WHen are we going to try to do it again then?

Ongey.- It is hard going to your first social.- but mostly they don't bite.
And I'm afraid that next time we meet.- we'll be NIN bores rather than Rammstein.- But normal service will be resumed soon.
I probably can't make Thursday, but will try for the next one.
Pick a date, pick a time.
