the NB website has them listed as "supportive cushioning" rather than "motion control", but the shop man assured me otherwise. and they do have a bigger "anti roll block" than the 856s.
ah well, never mind, if my foot falls off on monday then TC will have to carry me to the pub.
er - that's another thing you shouldn't do in running shoes. Running shoes should only be used when running. Running and walking create different wear patterns. The walking wear patten can cause injuries. Did you do this in the shoes which did you in?
I'd agree that some things are fine to use new, but shoes are not.
yeah, why not? i used new shoes at Florida and had a good result. actually i used new shoes at lanzarote and that gave me a good result for the marathon, too.
if you can't run or walk in new shoes, what's the point of buying them. might as well spend the money on something you can get some use out of.
I wouldn't do it, but I am anal about it. I've heard this in many places, including a chap who was once 5th fastest over 5k in the world that year so it must be true.
they were supposed to say "best novice" (ie for the public vote of which novice best embodies the piratey ironman spirit) and "fastest finish" (ie for the fastest finisher)
the idiot wrote down 145 (being the number of characters i had to pay to be engraved) on the form
then they mixed up the messages, and engraved the number of characters, so we have "best finish 145" and "fastest novice 145"
he's going to fix it next week. in the meantime i'll get some sticky paper and a marker pen to effect a stopgap repair
I've packed my walkie talkies for the supporters. I need to pack some hairspray too though. To keep my seat from slipping - not for my bouffant hair do.
I'm sure my excess baggage will cost more than the bike is worth.
In answer to Smiffy's questions 1 do I need a 10 year passport for switz There are only 10 year passports now (unless you are under 16 when I think it is 5 year), the old paper 1 year passport is long gone 2 do I need a visa (i only have mastercard) Most places that accept visa will also accept mastercard. Mastercard was more widely accepted when I first started to work in Europe 3 do I pick my tickets up at the flight check in(bought them online) Depends on which airline, take a copy of your confirmation e-mail and the credit card you used to book the flight. This will normally be sufficient to check in with and you will then be given a boarding pass. It's rare these days to actually be given a ticket. 4 do we need to take socks. Anti DVT socks or running socks or what kinda socks?
cougs tried turning it left to right made a horrible noise and still wont budge, scared to do it again incase it snaps sounded like the something near the saddle as apposed to the stem moving
