Morning all. My sister is coming round soon and we are going to play tennis with 2 friends. LordL offered to take the girls with him to LittleLords football but as there are 2 matches today and they will be gone for 4 hours I thought it would be fairer if the girls came with me! It will be interesting to see how many times we are interrupted.....I'd better stock up on crisps and drinks. Is it worth taking their homework with us......?
Have re read your post again and reckon it is about two separate things.
First = tennins and crying
Second = you have been outed by a lurker and it has got you into trouble.
Or not ?
We were out at a christmas party last night and had a lovely time. Although have found someone at Mr H`s work to dislike. One of the women, who all the men were flocking round and, who has a difficult to describe but very irritating manner. Big eyed ( and other parts) I am really vunerable feel sorry for me attitude.
Plus I had gone to the loos to phone my friend who was meant to be getting a taxi home with us, and the toilet was the quietest place in case you were wondering. Anyway she had seen me , I hadn`t seen her, and she had rushed over to Mr H to say that I was having a terrible time and he must dance with me immediately. << slap >>
Today I shall be mostly translating from French (which I don't speak at all well)into English (at which I dabble) the abstracts of papers to be given at a seminar in Geneva in January.
I'm supposed to be writing a paper for the same seminar, so I thought it might be useful to see what everyone else was going to say first, before I start writing mine.
Suspect I might spend quite a bit of time in here today doing 'task avoidance'.

For breaking the Rule of Three ;-)
Good racing and weddings everyone. LL, hope the tennis goes well and that you are feeling OK again.
I may have to leave the forum. In the meantime I have made myself disappear. If only it were so simple!
I am off to my badminton julefrokost. Not that I play badminton any more, mind you.
LL - just think earthworm fudge.
Was the tennis a disaster or did you have a panic attack ?

Or is it a case of how could you do anything but fail ?
What did you do ?
