For gods sake you bunch of nancy's. I know I first posted the weather but it was more to ensure people did not turn up in short sleeves when it was freezing. You can't choose the weather on race day so just bloomin well get out there and train. It's the same for everyone.
I can get you all some wool if you would prefer to knit for the weekend.
I'm on a train that is supposedly going to get me to windermere for 4:30. Its not a bad trip from the looks of things as long as everything runs on time. Depending on how bad the hills look, i'll be in touch ava. This is going to be good fun-its been a long time since i trained with anyone. Lets hope the wind dies down a bit before the weekend-as has been said, i don't mind the snow/rain, but wind is just annoying!
i think i'm going to have to pull out of the training weekend. I'm gutted. Been really looking forward to it. But I'm now on call on Friday night into Saturday am, so wouldn't be able to get there till late, and as I'm not allowed to swim or run until the stitches in my knee are out on Monday, it seems like a long way to go for not very much time and purpose...i can just as well do a couple of long bikes here and i can't really justify the travel time as it is with exams on the horizon
sympathy via e-mail, post-card and carrier pigeon please...!!!
OK, not directly related to the weekend but could anyone tape the doug haston program at 9pm on bbc2 for me, I'll bring a blank tape as a replacement.
I won't be at home to tape it and the chances of me setting up the VCR properly are at best slim and the cats still haven't worked out how to press the record button at the right time yet either.
I'd better not hear any 'funny noises' in the night barlist assuming we are sharing a dorm...
One of my most vivid memories of staying in a youth hostel dorm was waking up the next morning to find my sleeping bag soaking wet. On closer inspection i found assorted vegetables from dinner the night before. My mate had been sick in the night on the bed above me, and had managed to chuck on me en route to the toilets. In fact, bagsy a top bunk should it be that sort of layout!

Rant over. I love you all :-)
<makes note to pack some more warm clothes>
Would fancy getting back up the hill with all your kit thou.
"Wind is good as you don't need to ride as far to get 5 hours training in"
Thanks :-)

I'll have my lap top with me Lindi as I'm coming straight from a meeting.

Just don't let carl masturbate over it.
Debs you may be glad of our knitting when it turns cold !!!
