I actually ran yesterday morning at BP it twas the NBFA 5K run (an age concern charity)(yes I did say I ran!!!!)
Then went to a dance (ballroom) I walked into the room in my 4 1/2 inch heels and the organiser (who is my dance teacher) said you can`t dance in them so I decided to be rebellious and not change into my dance shoes which were in my bag. Huh tellin me i cant dance in 4 1/2 inch heels I thought "want to bet" and kept them on all night.
I couldn`t get out of bed this morning my thighs are killing. Dafydd (8yr old) asked me why I was walking like a robot. LOL
I suppose I did more or less spend the evening dancing on tip toes really after doing a little run as well. Woe is me Woe is me.
What exactly is the tour of Epson and ewell(??). It sounds interesting.
Nice to see you last night at the start Cookie, how did you get on? I think I gave it my all last night and expect to go rapidly downhill for the rest of the week!
RG, Le Tour is a series of five races at different venues around Epsom. Last night was 3.3 miles Horton Park, tonight is 4.4 miles Nonsuch Park, tomorrow is around 4 miles in Ewell on trails near the Hogsmill river, Thursday is a time trial two laps of the Derby course up on the Downs (hilly!!) and Friday is a handicap 4 miles back in Horton Park. I always look forward to it, until I get to the start of the races!
Where's the Morden Hall run, Rich? Actually, tell us all about it later.
Hipps, why don't you get in touch with the guy who started it and the local club to see if they would consider doing something? I'd love one in North London but Trent Park RC have the monopoly on 5k Saturday runs around Trent Park, so I'm doing the Bedfont Lakes next Saturday.
hippo - i thought about it and was all set to bring it up at our club committee meeting to see if it could be done through us
the problem is that it is all run by volunteers and i knew i would not be willing to give up saturdays to do it because we are buys in the am with kids activities, so i did not feel right about expecting others to do it they are very keen to set them up in other areas - it's just finding the team to do it

There was some about them when the pictures were first put up.
I feel a bit bad overtaking one of the WAISTer pirates who started about 50 minutes ahead of us. At least I gave her a shout of encouragement
Sarah
p.s. Cookie the shout of encouragement makes all the difference.

I am busy faffing with pics at the mo. I love it!

I've been to the Morden Hall race today, and that was fun, and I've been to the Amager Fælled race in Denmark, but none of the others yet . .
