LOL I have a bartholins cyst which if it flares and I need to get it looked WILL mean I get a couple of comments of the GP I usually see - he is just like that
Iws told by my piercer that you can leave them out too long - she had to have hers done again
Thanks for the comments Sam and Maddy - I'm surprised you need to take it out for cycling?
I went cycling last weekend and thought about this specifically. It doesn't seem like it will be a problem because that's not where I sit. Is there anything else you have to take it out for? I don't want to have to take it out at all.
Yasmin - I haven't yet had to take it out for cycling or anything else. I just think I will when I do longer stuff but thats because I am worried about stretching the hole since the hood is only skin, I use a range of positionsover longer distances just to relieve the pressure - it will probably happen slightly over time anyway but I don't want to accelerate it
Really Jane? I get waxed every 2 months or so. It might be in the way a little but I thought I might be able to work around it. Maybe it's better to take it out be on the safe side.
Oh definitely remove it for a wax - you risk a very nasty tear otherwise.
I don't see a need to remove it for any other reason or purpose. The only discomfort you may have cycling or wearing very tight jeans is if you are wearing a very bulky piece of jewellry like a barbel...if its just a bog standard 18 guage ring with baubel join you will be fine

Go for it, you can always remove it for runs if it causes any, er, 'bother' and replace it afterwards. Should be fine though.
One wee tip. If you ever have to go for an x-ray, take it out - my chiropracter *never* looked at me in the same way again.
*grins*
it is the hood that sits over the clit.
Well I don't know what you are all on about, I've never found one !!
Ding a ling.
The hole from a PA never heals either.
No, neither did I until that point.
*snigger*
never had a problem
erm, one looked a bit surprised and asked if it hurt
but tbh it wouldn't bother me if they *did* look at me strangly - like with they chiro, it would just amuse me
am not wearing it at the mo, like anything else you can wear it or not as you please

I've had mine out for a few months at a time on several occasions, not had any probs so far.
I used to take mine out for cycling, yeah.
