Went for a hilly four miler on Tuesday evening then to the gym; everything felt fine. Last night was staying up in Milton Keynes for work so went out from the youth hostel for a run...two and a half hours later, subsequent to getting completely lost on the redways (footpaths/cycle lanes to you and me) I ended up back at the hostel, but only after having resoted to running along the roadside grass verges so I could navigate my way back using the numbered grid sytem which MK is laid out on.
Painful and disorientating but strangley enjoyable, and I slept like a baby.
Well done Hilly. I'm going for first post-Beachy run tomorrow, a four mile coughing run round the back of the campus.
Never sure how best to handle this curious post-Beachy pre-Brighton 10k period. I want to maintain fitness for a nice fast 10k, but don't want to overdo it
Might not be able to do five to go now as I didn't realise it was on the Saturday - thought it was Sunday Will see, don't want to enter and not be able to do it - may call them and see if I can do late entry (don't know if it does entry on the day)

Back from 3 days hols of painting kitchen doors...
Yesterday was brilliant though, trip to London to see 'Buddy' followed by 'Tea at the Ritz'.
Good way to celebrate a wedding anniversary
Might try a run tonight as bruising has gone down.

Tom - I've stupidly not signed up for the Brighton 10k and now it's full! That'll learn me.
