Thanks Holly I will no doubt see you somewhere at some time to pick that up.
Symes, I should have stopped and talked to you at that bus stop but I was having such a job keeping going on the bike that if I had of I wouldn't have finished. Much respect to you for being there and hanging around.
Nice to hear from Squishy, keep up the one handed typing
I did see evidence of another incident involving a cyclist on my second lap just before the first major left turn - A606 to A6003. Ambulance and police cars in attendance, bike on verge, so hope whoever that was is ok too.
I was expecting to feel more sore today than I was yesterday but actually I feel fine. Obviously didn't tri hard enough.
Once again a good day was turned into a great one by the fantastic camaraderie and support of the pirates. You are all amazing. Thanks to everyone for the advice and moral support in the lead up to the big day. Congratulations Trog and Rio - you girls are fantastic!
Unspeakable relief that Squishy is mostly okay. ((((((((((Squishy)))))))))))
I am stunned that the driver didn't stop and trust that Miss Marple will get her man.
Pebble if it helps I phoned the watersports centre this morning and they are posting the rest of my kit that I left in there down to me, obviously I dont know where you stripped off but may be worth ringing them?
Funkin says he is sorry if anyone messages him for photos but he is working away this weekend, so if you have contacted you he will get back to you as soon as poss.
hello its me typing with 1 hand so forgive the lack of capital letters and apostrophes etc.
just to say big thanks to all for your good wishes, it means a great deal, special thanks to symes for staying with me and being a friendly face and were you there while i was in the ambulance while we were waiting for the chopper, only you just seemed to reappear again. you should have asked them for a lift.
oh ive had lots of texts too but i dont know who some are off but thank you anyway.
im trying to find out who tim was so i can thank him personally.
thats all, but please keep the brackets coming
missed this earlier but claire spotted it. get well soon. the least crashie could do is strap a wooden stick to your forehead so you could type with a hand and stick.
Blimey, well done to everyone, and horrified to read of the accident. Well, accident is n overly generous way of putting 'completely crap piece of shameful driving'. Hope they get him, and hope you heal quickly and strongly.
(((( Squishy )))) It really was horrid to see you on the road like that, but it was a great relief to find out that your injuries were not as bad as they could have been. Get well soon... It sort of put the race into a bit of perspective. Let's hope that they catch up with that ******* driver.
It was great to meet up with all the Pirates again. I'm really really glad that I was in a caravan and not in a tent. Even if the drive up was somewhat eventful after the car's windscreen wipers decided to break halfway to Rutland.
Not sure what happened to me during the race, but a bad back and lack of any serious training for too many week seems to have taken their toll. I don't think I've ever finished any race or training session feeling quite so hungry and dizzy. I just had to sit down and eat anything I could get my hands on. Normally after a long race I'm thinking I should really eat something but can't stomach it. This was really different.
Thanks for the TT supporters on the Ripple and elsewhere, and thanks for the great support from the Pirates, Jenny and other supporters too.

I thought it was Smithy....
Oddly (and out of character) he's been fairly quiet recently. Does anyone know if he's OK..?
