as an aside to the torrent of posts on running..... what are the gear ratios on yours Paul? I've been agonising over mine and working out gear inches and all that kafuffle (sp?).
Belated birthday wishes PSC. That was an impressive pressie, do you get your money back if it doesn`t make you faster?
Great Abingdon photo Snappy -The victory roar. I would be well pleased to do your time in New York. Although have had enough of over the last few weeks.
Amazed that you would attempt (and obviously succeed) to read Camus in french, where do you find the time? Which part of the country will you be in next week? Anywhere that paul a might be flying over?
Don`t you ever fly over here Paul? I am running low on tea bags..
Actually, I only read the first 15 pages but I think I got away with it.
Today in French class I had everyone working on how to translate "the Italian player tweaked his nipple". It's only a matter of time before I am expelled.
Or exiled to Lincolnshire. LordL is reading bike ponce mags these days and one of them contains an article (like "Rave Run" but on wheels) about the area around Louth where I will be plodding next week.
Paul - not sure Bobo is doing DD this year. She has her sights set on a slightly longer jaunt in Scotland. The Cateran Trail! I suspect she will be doing some of the LDWA events during the build up.
Snappy, maybe 2010... this year is IM year for me. Are you OK? Just read your blog - apart from the fact your technology is turning against you (watch and printer) you seem to be having an off patch with your running. Temporary blip I'm sure.....
Tbh with Chicago and the darker nights I have only had time for minimal cycling (have got a turbo now though), main focus is still the running. Big problem for me is going to be the swimming. More likely that cycling will be a useful form of x-training and the tri plans will be on hold. Held off entering DD because of 70.3 at Wimbleball, but have decided that DD would take priority.
all you have to watch with cycling is that it tightens up the leg muscles. But good stretching keeps that under control (apparently) It is certainly great x-trg. When is 70.3 Wimbleball......? I'm probably doing Bala in June then IMCH in July......
hello all - long time no see........ been grounded with a persistent calf prob for a while , hopefully now sorted, popped out to plama week before last in theory to do a half but commonsense prevailed and did 10k instead.
Paul - finally got airborne for first time in ages yesterday, all went well and will now do a navex to shobdon on 14th, if that goes ok then i will do some upper air before a GFT to revalidate my licence

Please don't agonise over your new bike, PSC .
I've just got in from playing tennis with my sister. The children are on half term next week so I shall be running in a different part of the country.

What is going on in here? Or rather what isn't going on in here? A whole week without a post in CPH.........unheard of.
Entered DD today - don't forget bo-bo, 6 Jun
I may well be up for the CPH marathon.
I used to live in Copenhagen in 1997 -1998 just looking at the course it goes along a road called Ingerslevgade where my apartment was.
I loved it in Denmark and would love to go back there, I'll have to speak to the missus but I'm sure she will let me do it.I'm doing Hasting as my first mara so I will see if I want to do another one after that.

CPH is 2 weeks before DD which isn't ideal and so I expect it will be a no from me too - although haven't finalized my 09 schedule yet.
