Ah, you were not the 2 people who were in front of me for a long while then. I did 69.11 which I was delighted with, Went out too quick really and really struggled from after the ford but was so chuffed to get under 1.10. You must have been not far from me, I ran for quite a while with a friend who had a fluorescent yellow jacket tied around her middle, I had a white/blue fleece around my middle.
I looked out for you and indeed everyone else, I had a piece of paper with all your names and numbers written on but it was too hard to check as most of us had coats and jackets on until the start
Did your friend enjoy it tho' or has she vowed never to run again?!
Well done Julia. Must have seen you finish as Pammie and I went back to see Tracey and her friend in. Stupidly I'd been checking out numbers at the start but brain had stopped working at the finish!!
Julia - Tina enjoyed her 10k race. It was her 3rd race. She need to do a few more 10k before doing a half marathon. I will want a sub 55mins, but that is a minute of my pb.
Tracey no I was running with a female buddy, theres 2 pics of me, one on the first lot, just look out for her bright yellow jacket round her middle, im no 50. on the last lot too, by myself looking knackered!
Have found pics of some of you - but lots of you must have arms or other people in the way! Guess it'll be easier on the official site if they're in no order!
Just to clarify, the pics on the Striders site (4 sets) are ones that we took (mostly my young daughter) so they are in no order (if you like any of them there is a download button below the images and they are of course free). There are some at 2k where we marshalled and also about 50 metres from the finish.
The official pictures will be on http://www.jpsi.co.uk which I believe will be searchable by number and are for sale.
Tracey, i've seen the picture of your friend finishing, there is a rather natty one of me 3 before that, clutching my water bottle, in a navy vest. The background is blurred from where i was travelling like lightning across the ground in my sprint to the line
Actually i felt more like and was glad to get there!

Anyone else having problems with the photo site? Doesn't seem to work!
Any idea when the results will be published?
Well done Tracey G and all! Apparently the winner did 31 mins odd. How do they do it?!
Not working for me either.
Guess the results will be up in a day or so.
Wish I knew!!! I saw Crispian Bloomfield when I was driving to Billericay this morning. Even on a training run he was flying along!
Results are now on the Billericay Striders website. Course record was broken in an incredible 31.29 !!
Nice to see you Sue - hopefully bump into you again at Witham.
Well done everyone
It was a good day well organised yet again. I'll definitely be back next year
Great to see you yet again Tracey and Kaz
Tracey well done to Tina as well

Hi all,
I do the website for Billericay Striders.
Just to clarify, the pics on the Striders site (4 sets) are ones that we took (mostly my young daughter) so they are in no order (if you like any of them there is a download button below the images and they are of course free). There are some at 2k where we marshalled and also about 50 metres from the finish.

As noted already all results / categories / teams etc are on the website ( http://www.10k.billericaystriders.com )
There is also a place to sign up to our mailing list to be notified when entries open for 2009, as we have sold out before the day every year that I can remember - this is http://www.10k.billericaystriders.com/newsletter/subscribenewsletter.asp
There is also also a forum to leave feedback / comments / suggestions. All links are from the main page of http://www.10k.billericaystriders.com
cheers,
Keith.
Oh, just had this from one of the race committee, which should clarify ......
" The guy from JPSI advised yesterday that their photos would be available Tuesday/Wednesday on their website.
You may like to indicate this on our site.Incidentally, they have been experiencing problems with their website, these are now resolved. "KeithHammer - You and your daughter took some great photos. Thank you.
Thanks Tracey, the credit is 95% my daughters (@ age 11 !). I was too busy marshalling to take many.
I ran a PB yesterday, it's a good course for it. Marshalling and police were great and I like the goody bag. See you next year.
Hammer, thank you for a fantastic race, it was my first 10k race (a PB naturally ) and I hope they'll all be as good!
The pictures are really great, it's so exciting to see myself actually running (? is that what they call it!)
Thanks to you all

Icclesuez your no (142) shows in position 470 time 57.48 (wow you're quick) but although there is a girls name it shows as 'male open' ?
But not my name against my number? A different persons name!
I had my garmin on so not too worried
The most professionally run small race I've ever entered.
Well done
