Hi Dips, I booked Edinburgh, flights & hotel months ago so all set for it. Ran today for the first time so legs working again. I dont really want to run it but, like a moth to the flame.......... flutter flutter
I'm going to book Bella Pasta in Hanover Street for me & 3 others so will prob see you in there. Is that where we ate last time?
Loved it HHS...Thats absolutely brilliant !! What a fantastic idea .Makes you want to get married all over again...
Anyone been to the aditour event on brighton seafront ? Today and tomorrow .Free foot analysis .You have to run on a special foot sensor linked up to a computer and there is 20% off their new range .Always been in neutral shoes and they said I pronate now .Could be the cause of the big blisters on my toes apparently !! Hope to go back to try again tom just to make sure it says the same , before hopefully making a purchase .
Come on. Own up. Who ELSE is going to be entering the Brighton Marathon tomorrow?! Got a London entry pending, but this does look rather tempting. Would be a good back up event if London entry declined. Even if successful, I could always defer and just do this
Sent an email to the organisers yesterday. Tried to enter via the 'ealybird' route, but need an 'access code'! Wanted to know why it was necessary, as they had already emailed me thanking me for my interest etc etc beforehand! Assuming now that the 'earlybird' entries will be full, so may not bother at all. I know it's only an extra fiver, but why advertise the service if its difficult to access?!
(Confused, and slightly miffed, of Upper Beeding steps gingerly down from his soapbox!)
Loveley weather, and a few days off to do stuff around the house and cane the wii fit! Spoilt somewhat by getting a call from sons school to say he'd been given a detention for showing 'porno' pictures on his mobile during a lesson today! Have to pick him up and have a chat with the teacher concerned later!
Hello mr confused and slightly miffed .Sorry but had to chuckle out loud at the above (i know ..its no laughing matter!)Will look out for that one ,infact I'm off to check mobiles now .
Glad to see the route is the right way round with the hills in the first half of the race , if i'd hav known that may have been a little tempted ..but the price !!!!
Decided to be sensible and not enter. My aim (if I get an entry of course) is to run London and enjoy it, not be sore from Brighton. Will definitely come down to the 'turn' at 21 miles though, jelly babies in hand!
