Rowan, agree to an extent, but I somehow think they will start quite quickly as they want to make announcements on Friday, which means they will need to talk to the shortlisted people as soon as possible.
Oh Come on JF5! I've been stuck at home with a poorly little boy! We've both been fighting over who could use the computer and for how long ! I too want this excrutiating wait to end!!! Go home, I'll keep you posted on what appened until you log on from home! Now then chop chop!! <!--Session data--><!--Session data-->
I don't think the selection process will be that hard. They will have so many entries, all saying the same things, that it'll probably end up a random selection from the 'possibly' pile.
Wish I'd said something different now. Maybe a poem or such.
I entered last night... Am definitely doing Edinburgh Marathon 2010 after missing out in the London Marathon ballot. But as I live in London I would love to be able to do this. Currently Half Marathon is my longest race... but the marathon training is starting now. Yay!
From HSBC telling me to update my account details.shall i do it?
We're all going to be disapointed,so wondering when the phone will ring won't make any difference. having said that,i've had 2 missed calls from an unknown number in the past 30 minutes........
phone rang this evening but it was just forces fit wondering why i was giving up. she didn't seem overly impressed with my answer..."I don't like being muddy".
Right to prove how calm I am I am off home now, casual drive normally takes 25 minutes, perhaps do it in about 6 tonight!
I kept a copy of my form so I know they will contact me at work or on my mobile, think I can access my work voicemail from home, perhaps check that every few minutes, and I can access my work email at home so looks like I'm working from home tonight!
Tense, nervous, don't know what you mean. Can't even go for a run in case. Think I'll run early in the morning, surely they won't phone between 6 & 7 will they!
Oh what a bummer.............. i've only just come across this thread and obviously too late to apply now. Such a shame since i work for a previous London Marathon Winner........ never mind. I could never be coached by Paul Evans anyway, only have to speak to him on the phone and my knees go weak

Oh to be a fly on the wall of the selection office!
Oh to have that much power, to know that you have six peoples future in the palm of your hands.

Someone else.....
Good luck to whoever is chosen... even if the judges are mean enough to not select me....
If my phone rings I shall be ignoring it.
The government are after me.
Ive heard
Nothing yet...............
I can't believe the hysteria!
Don't forget.....if you don't answer the phone by saying;
"OOH OOH, I'M A BIG HAIRY MONKEY, OOH OOH"
then you'll lose out and they'll call someone else.
You Lie!
( Where? )
