Is everybody organised for Sunday? I ask as after around 10am tomorrow, I will not be online until late Sunday or Monday.
If anyone needs any information/contact numbers, can they let me know now please.
Other than that, this is mostly organised, just need confirmation from Duncan as to whether Ullapool Runners are going with him on Sunday Badnagyle - Lochinver, and details of handover to David once there.
Lastly we need to ascertain the time of arrival back at Keoldale by Frances to hand over to Tom on the next stretch.
Peter & Trish are doing a fine job in getting this all arranged.
Calum Macleod and his brother are joining Alice & Rob Shaw on the Ullapool to Badnagyle bit on Sunday, then Duncan will take over to Lochinver. (I haven't heard if the Ullapool runners are joining too yet or not)
I wish you all well, take care running and enjoy it.. there is no race pressure... just relax and take it easy when there are no hills!
All the best up there - you've got a hard act to follow - main thing seems to be to have fun! oh and keep an eye on Barry so he doesn't do any disappearing acts when left alone in posh hotels.....
All the very best for everyone running Ullapool to Durness (including the little diversion to Cape Wrath). It is great fun being part of the adventure and I am sure you will all really enjoy the challenge. Also many thanks to Alison who has helped out by co-ordinating so well.
Just heard that Alice, Rob, Jude, Calum and his brother Ruaraidh had a good run today and all went well, they have sent in their photos.. hopefully they will be up soon in the gallery.Look out for the Millie and Strath the border collies too!
Also, Duncan has just handed Barry over to Gita up at Lochinver for the next stage.
Happy running everyone in this section , will you be having Stornoway black pudding for breakfast to give you a kick start ??? Weather forecast is looking ok I think for the next few days so enjoy....xx
We have had a really good start on this stretch - got a bit wet, but hey..that's what coasting is about - if not from the rain, it'll be from the sea.... And those collies snapped at me! It was very nearly Barry Two Pieces
Did somebody say pudding for breakfast??? I like rice pudding please....creamy custardy rice pudding... or am I talking about a different region??? Never mind, any pudding will do
Remember to post reports on my Barry's Epic Journey thread as well - that's where people are supposed to get all the reports on my journey....
