Jon - any luck with finding a room mate for Sat night ?? (or are you going to try and find one when you're down there !)
Natty N - just to let you know Hadders won't be running, as unfortunately he was too late with his entry (they were full), so you can take him off your 'official' list.
EP, I wore a long sleeve top last weekend and roasted, it is quite mild still, just flippin wet!! If you feel warm at the start you will be too warm jogging/running/moving.
Any more rain we will be swimming the course! Beware of shingle on the prom too!!
I am coming in from Portslade/Hove end if anyone needs a lift. Hoping to park near the start if I get there early enough. There is an NCP car park under the Thistle hotel which is convenient for the Palace Pier.
GarethL, ok have updated that, its a shame I thought that would have been another one to push me along, but I see you are targeting the same time so thats ok.
Sassie, ok shall put you in for 1:15
All, I shall run in vest and shorts, (as well as socks and go-faster shoes of course) its amazing how quickly you will warm up whatever the weather!
Morning all. I do wish I had more time to keep up with these threads. I end up doing mass readings and not following the plot.
Do I gather we are 1. Meeting at the pier first 2. meeting on the pier after 3. Did someone say something about swopping mobile numbers?
Also I am driving down and hoping to park on Madiera drive. If any other slowcoaches want to stash their gear in my car feel free, just let me know.
Wear wise, I get very warm when I run but I have never run in the weather we are having at the mo. Last year was tropical by comparison. So I dont really know what to wear but the less there is to get soaked the better I presume!
Right, we're meeting at the entrance to Palace Pier at 10am. And in the pub at the end of the pier after (I'm assuming we mean the far end of the pier, in otherwords the bit out in the sea?). I mentioned swapping mobile numbers, I have a few already and have dished mine out too, so if anyone wants to swap let know and I'll email you mine or email me yours, or both!
Thanks for the offer of kit stashing in your car, that's two people offering space now, JJ has offered her boot too, so that's excellent!
I'm planning on wearing my black running tights, black long sleeve top, with my URWFRC vest over the top and my black baseball cap to keep the rain off and my hair annoying me
Althought I do get very hot and the long sleeves get annoying, but I think I'll just suffer the heat.

Have a great time, and do great times.
I'll look out for the thread telling us all about it!
And see you at Windsor.
He will be easily recognised as probably the only running supporter with a cowbell!
Bringing Maxine and the boys. going out to lunch and am sure we'll have a great time.
Any luck with the shirts?

The wind was thundering the rain into my house this morning and I thought, please dear God, don't let it be like this on Sunday!
I'm not confident at getting the sub 50 I was hoping for, but anything under 51:14 will be a PB, so here's hoping for that at least.
I hope eveyone else gets their numbers through, if not already.
Oh and thanks to NattyNoodle for your continued work on the web page!
Cheers
Caz.

Not sure what swapping might mean
SWOP!
I'll write it out a hundred times.
So I'm not totalling losing it then?
