I hope you're going to tell us aaaall about your training, and how it's so much harder than anything we plebs could possibly manage. Not forgetting how chuffed you were the first time you broke the 20 minute mile.
And I'd suggest keeping your trainers in the box until the day of the marathon itself. That way, they'll be nice and clean and lovely and shiny. You'll really stand out on the start line too.
And don't worry about doing too much training, a marathon is really just like a RFL, only a bit longer.

Morgahan .. has anyone in your family, or indeed in your street, overcome some major trauma you would like to tell us about?
I see no reason why I can't jump into a 30 mile week which is about double what you all do whilst neglecting your children.
This week:
M: Rest
T: Recovery.
W: Power walk to chip shop.
T: 3 * 1min as fast as I could on treadmill (I guess this was about 3 miles).
F: Didn't run because of snow but would have run A LOT (about 10 miles).
S: Rest from yesterday's non-run.
S: Long Run of 12 miles, cut short to 2 because of hangover.
So, 25 miles this week.
Yes, it was light yellow in colour so I've been drinking more water.
My aim is copious and clear baby, copious and clear.
