will have to see how reading fits in with my marathon schedule in spring (depends what marathon) - did it last time in 2.24 (2.12pb) should be taking 25 minutes off as went through half m distance at dublin in just under 2.05
To be honest I'm not a runner but used running as training for a London to Paris cycle I did this year. As i started to enjoy it and wanted another challenge I just signed up for this without thinking too hard. An insane bit of me wants to do sub 2hrs but the reality may be very different!
I make you right, i've suprised myself at in the past usually through insane goals and ignorance of how 'unachievable' they are :-) Will train for a sub 2 hrs and see how i get on.
Wow, there is a thread for the Reading half marathon.......I'm thinking of entering for next year. Now if only Christmas / New Years wasn't in the middle of my training schedule
