I was once a professional thief, i worked for a small chain of Spar franchise supermarkets, it was my job to go in and shoplift to see if the security of the store was up to scratch.
As a result of that i got a one off job to deliver a cheque for over a million pounds from schewppes to a pop making firm in Huddersfield.
I spent years working as a lifeguard - I had the pleasure of being on duty when the pirates came to play once
Yes its dull but I have done duller jobs for less money and perks since
I think male lifeguards get teh better deal - womens swim wear tends to be far more flattering even with less than perfect bodies than mens itse either way too baggy or fat boys in speedos

I worked in a paint factory and had a minor accident. I was surprised just how much it effected my mood - I was overcome with emulsion!
I'll get me coat ......

My dad is a vicar and during my Uni holidays I used to work in the graveyard and get IIRC:
The going rate for full graves was £80 I think, but I wasn't qualified
Kept me in beer money, and I used to take "bribes" to give graves a bit of extra-special TLC... Alan Sugar would have been proud
Sorry!
Walking back from the swimming pool this morning got me thinking that being a pool lifeguard has to be a pretty shit job, your duties basically are:
Sitting on your arse trying to stay awake / dealing with boredom.
Cleaning all the grime from the changing rooms, showers, pool
GFB -
Barley - but you do get to admire all the pretty folk in the costumes. Not sure it would make for the boredom though.
