minardi..Don't panic. The wee card..and the date on it.. is just a bit of paper.Your entitlement to treatment is something else. * I'm assuming we're talking about the same thing...*

I'm glad you put that sms page on there ATM as I needed to change a number and couldn't for the life of me find the e-mail that I got from them taking me to the correct page!
Travel on the Metro is fine on Sunday mornings. Not too busy and no worse than any ordinary business day in Paris. I might even say the atmosphere is lighter!
Pharmacy shop done, nuun's purchased, bag packed (again). list all ticked off, if I haven't got it now I really don't need it, last 4 miler done and legs feeling good.

Thanks for the good wishes , Mick. I wish you and your son were coming, too.
I'm looking forward to seeing our katb at Food Station No. 4, at 20k K, if you get the chance, shimmy to the last table or so, from the runners' point of view, so we have a chance to spot you at the least crowded part. I don't know why they expire, m, but no-one's going to deny you emergency treatment if you need it and you and your passport will do for any paperwork involved in non-emergency stuff. * You got travel insurance, though? *

You certainly live in a beautiful place PF.
We've changed hotel to Best Western near Gare du Nord. I thought it would be nearer to where I'm going to be on Sunday morning. It doesn't look that far on the map Just checked on the metro and it will still take me 35 mins to get there
Good luck to all you guys n gals in paris, hope you all have a great race.
I will be there, to help you celebrate on sunday night.
Hope to see you there Andy!
3 paltry miles for me and even they were spread over 2 runs! Did 1.5 of fartlek this morning and 1.5 MP early evening just because my heart wasn't in it this morning.
I'm due to do 4 on Friday afternoon but not sure whether it will end up more like 2.
No feeling of legs being great at the moment - lots of phantom pains in knees and sore heels since I cut back on training volume!
Pretty much packed now.
BB - I'm staying at the Maurice Ravel Friday - Tuesday.
To everyone
wishing all of you a safe journey to Paris,
have a super day and run, hope you all achieve your goals what ever your ability,
have a safe journey home
good luck all of you
Mick
Thanks to all the wellwishers who've been dropping in - kind thoughts!
