That's true... its about 1.5 hours ride/train/ride for me, so will see what my plans are. It might be a last minute decision though depending on what time I awake etc
Barley Smiffy AH Dustboy Lord H Ferret (no promises of biscuits as have a wonky oven at the moment) Siggy (as long as I can get the little Princes to stay later in bed and sort their own lunch out! Sheesh, they're teens, how hard can that be?!!)
NB4, as per Ferrets post above, GU4 8SE Newlands Corner, in the large free car park. You can't miss it. It's on the top of the hill. 10am. This Saturday coming. Chips after.
We wait for the slowest and also fit in Barleys fag stops. It's unlikely to be fast . Anyway, how old is "oldies"? Plum can make it and he is historical.
Plum wasn't on the original list for this weekend. From his occasional postings I think he has a PLAN, which must be followed, but who knows he may be lurking...
Actually I guess I best get my bike out and check it still works, it hasn't been out since the ride from mine in March! Please feel free to gloat when I suffer, it is good for my soul
Route sorted. And shortened very slightly after negotiation with Lord H as it was a bit OTT. Lord H may have to pull out coz of sickly child.
Most of the route, but not all of it, has been covered at some point before, I've just never put these few bits together in this order.
Just off to shop to get creme eggs for you know who.
Oh purlease Soupy, do the best you can! It wouldn't be the same without you. And you DID say you were itching to have another go at something with yoru new "engine"

Simples. Leave a dozen sausage rolls in the fridge, a handful of Babybels, a fourpack of fruitshoots and a packet of Mr Kipling Country slices.
Unfortunately my mate Benno has cried off again!! What's the weather going to be? too early to guess?
You will be pleased to know that we will not be going UP either Combe or Crocknorth.
