BT, good luck with your Thanet run tomorrow, was hoping to get there but looks very doubtful now, but wasnt planning on racing this month, so shouldnt really be too dissapoited.

Why: Away last night at a wedding and didnt sleep well at all ( about 7hrs sleep last two nights ) so decided not to go out and would rather feel fresh for a longish run tomorrow.

4,7,13,16 and now 20 min last 5 days. It is hard to believe, having injured my groin on Oct 8th, that I might finally be getting over this! :-)

BT, I find preparing for a XC with 3 bottles of premium strength beer quite satisfying.
XC are about strength and technique aren't they and you can't really compare times, so a few drinks the night before is no great shakes.
Also, I'm currently 11th in the S. Yorks XC league, so no chance of winning anything. Just enjoy the racing!
