Yay - it's lovely . It's so attractive around here, even a bunch of illegal immigrants jumped out from a lorry in Solstice Park a few weeks ago.
Last run before VLM tomorrow, only 2 miles but got to remember to do slow, not at MP. Hve a route from my gym, so quick run then sauna to try to keep weight off.
Anyway, weather forecast for weekend looks great, we're gonna get very wet!
Gatton and Trig, I'll be there on Sat! A bunch of the running mums are meeting at 12 outside the expo, but I plan on doing the expo before that, so will prob get there about 10. Gatton I'll text you later and check I still have your no, incase you don't get back on here. Trig, fancy a coffee or something?
Sounds like a plan to me Caro. I'm not sure if I'm doing parkrun this week but have your number, Gatton's number and Daz's number so should be able to track one of you down
If i don't get on before London......good luck everyone. Thank you for all of your advice along the way. Hopefully be on again afterwards to tell of a sub 4 time.
Caro - tbh I can't see us getting there before 1300 at the earliest. We leave Cardiff at 0900 and are stopping off en-route as well. Hope to catch up with you all though.
Jiminey - I'm sure you'll get a sub-4, stay focused and good luck.
According to Dave's weather link and latest on BBC site, rain is due to start on Sun at about 1300. Hopefully I'll be finished by then
Great to see Daz and Debs sorry I missed you Caro but it was so busy today and I missed a couple of other friends. Will get to catch up all together in the near future........... gets sofa ready for tomorrow morning and will put my tired feet up and enjoy the VLM........
Checking in to see how you got on yesterday everyone?
How are you all? Runners and non-runners?
I haven't forgotten about organising the Virgin get together Gatton - have had a few things going on including a short hospital stay so I'm afraid I just haven't managed to sort it out yet. Hopefully soon...
Hey VB hope you are better after your visit to the hospital. I am fine just getting more and more busy ready for the Olympics other than that staying healthy...we are here for you anytime..xx
Thankfully Mrs G is keeping me on track. If I think I can go out on my bike or for a jog she makes sure she knows where I will be and have phone,ID bracelet and money on me.......... What would we do without our OH's...
Amen to that Gatton - Mr VB has been an absolute saint over the last few months (not that he isn't anyway but more so atm). Give Mrs G my love - glad she's keeping you on the straight and narrow
