Me and my boy both entered...places filling fast, over 40,000 already. I'm in the not donating category as I don't need any more limited edition jackets!
I'm in (the ballot at least!) Wasn't up when I checked before I went to bed at about 12:30 last night, but was taking entries when I was up changing a nappy at 3 this morning
I have just entered. I don't think I'll be lucky but it is worth a try. It would be nice for a first marathon, but I have a place in Brighton. So I am hoping that my fitness and training will go well for next year
hey jelleybaby - i'll be celebrating my 40th if i get a ballot place - hope to see you there running with balloons too! (3rd time lucky & fingers crossed!)
entered at 6am, no email from VLM but I did get a response from the charities I ticked. Tried calling to confirm but obviously very very busy. Wondering if I should re-apply... Got through ballot last year so don't hold out much hope of two in a row, but I did get 4 rejections in a row so perhaps its a theme...
got through to VLM helpline which confirms there are some significant delays on emails being sent. I got the confirmation page (didn't copy reference!!) so fingers crossed. Checked spam and trash... nothing...
no confirmation either .... not holding out too much hope on getting in. Have booked Brighton so at least i know i definitely will be doing my first marathon next April
I entered about 0:40 last night and email then took about 15 mins to get the email through. Now non nocturnal people are applying I guess there will be a rush and the network will be very busy.
If anyone thinks there is a problem my confirmation email shows the VLM office number as
Sounds like it's not a good idea to reapply (re Andrew Edwards 20). I quote from the confirmation email:
"Please don't enter the ballot more than once as this could result in all your entries being cancelled."
If you got the page with the reference number (and wrote it down hopefully) you ought to be ok.
Having gone through the fiasco that was the Olympic ticket application and having read comments from past years about the VLM process, it seems the servers are faring slightly better this year.
I woke up at 5:30 (not sure why) blearily looked at Twitter on my phone and saw people had applied so fired up the laptop and did so myself. It will be my first if I'm successful, but if not I'll do another one anyway, injuries permitting.

Just entered! What a potential way to celebrate my 50th Birthday!! Off to work I go now in what seems like hurricane force winds......
Good luck everyone!
Another one entered here.
Live the dream, good luck all
10th application made- never gotten in on the ballot so holding out no hope
Haven't even got a confirmation email yet even though the page says application has gone in.
I've entered but not got email confirmation yet. Anyone got email?
Do they cut the ballot off at a certain number of entries?
Check your spam mail guys! My confirmation email went straight into there.
Just entered the ballot. Would be my first marathon after a couple of half's!
Think i will enquire through contacts i have in a few charities to see if they can help too...

I think if you've got a confirmation number you're OK
If I'm not lucky then I'll look at charity teams. Have to say the minimum pledge is daunting and a novice fund-raiser!
