So sorry Nursey.... its hard but as you say at least she's alive, but it's still awful, I can't believe how you must feel
I have to keep numnuts (OTD as known on the forum) on the leash permanently, he's a big boy and doesn't back down (was attacked as a pup by a pack of staffs).... stupid owners here are very irresponsible and allow the dogs off the lead when they are fekkin miles away and then their dogs always cause trouble, so I have to be uber careful since i know he would be branded a DD in a heart beat
Me??? What have I done......well, apart from that, and the other thing we're not allowed to mention anymore....apart from those, I'm innocent I tells ya!!
ahh love her ...yes perhaps not compatible with sheep if she is set in her ways already ! Someone will give her a good home, I suspect the lady she came from is a responsible rehomer?
when I become a real triathlete I want to be able to do Wasdale, the devil's own triathlon
In the meantime, i've just discovered i'm in Wave 2, 7h28am this sunday, sporting race number 159 and wearing a green swim cap and making my tri debut - god help us... tri is an hour away, going to be a very early start...
stupid question time...
Registration is open from 6am, need race number apparently to enter transition, guess that means register, get pack go back to car and get bike etc?
Once got stuff go to T1 and lay everything out, then get into wettie?
Put dry non race attire back in T1 or in car? any views?
sorry brain obviously now doing panicked disfunctionality
Melds I'm at Lakeside in Essex... I believe car parking and T1 might be a little away.
Check Tri suit and hoody, good plan i'll use run trainers as well and then strip as required once allowed in transition... leave dry kit in car. Will take old flip flops too SD
Gas ..speak withFlatfooted, I think he has done that one
Limit what you take in as I say, you wont have much room and people tend to fling stuff around if it isnt theirs If you have a clear plastic crate then take that in (not too big) !!

Don't you bloody start!

Gas, is this Windsor?
1. Yes
2. Yes (go for a wee several times first)
3. dont wear too much and put it in a dry bag in T1 (you wont have much room)
in fact, better for 3. Keep dry stuff in the car and wear race kit and a hoody if needs be
just do the whole lot in your mankini and stop being such a wuss!!
I'm doing Windsor M...eldy - going to come and cheer me on???

Busy Tri weekend for us then, mine is at 3pm start on Saturday, my first open water one. Should be some good stories over the weekend.
