I like that the plan assumes "that you have been doing some activity during the last 8 weeks". It'd have to be one heck of a plan to get you from sofa-surfer to finisher in 3 months!
Are you going to buy it, SA? I think I might set the £145 aside for celebratory champagne and chips instead.
No don't think I will be parting with my cash for that, saying that I don't have any cash, Mrs SA's new bike saw to that.
I will be using the tried and trusted pirate IronMan plan
Swim a bit, Bike a lot, run a bit, then bike some more.
We are doing flat out in the fenns this weekend, 112 miles flat as a very flat thing, perfect training for Wales, no its the final push for Mrs SA and Outlaw relay, then Wales training proper starts
I am doing the 5K swim on Saturday of Outlaw weekend
I had the 3 month plan email and then realised i need to get training more.Had a rest this weekend due to a mates wedding so need to do a 100 mile cycle sometime soon.
Plenty of Sportives on at the moment to make your hundred-miler easier, Bobby. Or do you prefer to do it the hard way? Started my 3-monther last week, and got a 120-miler in at LCW, which was very sweet.
SA - is the swim on the Saturday, mate? I'll be down there looking after Muffin Top, but might be able to escape for a flounder in the pond.
Sad news about Wales O.C although you seem pleased with the transfer. Re long rides I did 70 miles on monday.Im targetting cheshire plains and peaks sportive 100 mile on 22nd of July as all the others seem to clash with my shift pattern at work.
Got my first 112 of the year in last weekend but it was flat as a flat thing, will be going out and looking for hills, just gotta wait until after the Outlaw then all the training time will be mine, as just like STIL, the misses is doing outlaw
Hi IronPingu (doesn't that name suit you better??) Muffin and I are staying with our kids at Bluestone. After braving the Long Course Weekend in a little tent, we've decided we're hard enough for IronMan, but too camp to camp.

Oooh, very nice. I've booked a caravan after last years boggy camping experience. Must admit, after Outlaw I did really want a long soak in a bath.

We're booked into Bluestone this summer, was planning some training but didn't think about it being slap bang in the IM course.... that's useful
Nice little circuit for you, Gas, while you're there... out of Bluestone, down through Hardman's Bridge, scoot through Saundersfoot (Feedstation for chips, ice cream and lager), back up through New Hedges and trundle back to Bluestone's Spa for a sauna and massage. It is allowed to be nice from time to time... right?
After thinking about this at the weekend, I am going to close the order book after IMWales ie end of September. This means that the order will likely be placed with LG towards the end of the year, with delivery around Feb/March.
