Well after 'discussing' our holiday plans for next year the other half has happily agreed to spending some time in South of France during last week of June next year. Although I haven't mentioned why there just yet...
I have entered IM France 2014. Hotel booked. Trying to work out best option to get there - looks like fly Bristol to Nice (I live in Swansea). Does anyone know, from experience, when the EasyJet flights for June / July come on-line. Looks like they only go to March so far.
Not sure about EasyJet but I had a look at BA fares the other day, return from Gatwick is about £160, Heathrow about £280.
Not sure how much Easyjet are, but id not fly them as got stung with a hidden cost once and will never use them again, id hate to be held to ransom by them with my bike.
Ive flow BA with my bike a nearly a dozen times and never had a problem.

What're the limits on BA bike flying Barley? I've flown EasyJet twice this year and had no problems taking up to 32kg in the bike box (most of my clothes too). My work colleague said BA were a lot tighter on case weight??
BA is, if I recall, slightly more expensive booking the bike on BUT they class your bike as another piece of luggage so you get a standard luggage allowance for it. I think it's 20kg a piece.
Easyjet, I think, charge you slightly less for your bike BUT they then say that your total hold luggage allowance is 32kg (distributed as you wish) which makes me completely paranoid about going over. I can't get my bike down to 12kg when boxed so it eats into my other baggage.

So. Who has a 50 week training plan then?
I have a 20 week one I can use 'errrm' twice and a bit?
I have a 30 week one, we could bolt them together?
Which one would we do first?
The one that starts with a rest day ?
So when does the training thread start? I'm in desperate need of some motivation.
