My sock had a massage yesterday, and nearly cried at the pain of getting its ITB massaged, but sock managed to keep it together. Today my sock started some PT at the gym, which was awesome. Sock currently wearing recovery gear and lounging on the sofa awaiting the start of IM Hawaii!!! C'mon PIRATES!!!!!
Bodypump followed by a spin class yesterday - feel like a bit of a fraud having a rest day today hardly done much this week bar biking to work and home.
Math's just to show sarah I'm paying attention can I ask a question? Do you have a breakfast? If you don't it normally mean's you end up snacking for most of the day while if you do you normally lose weight.
I'm back at weight watchers, for me it works better than exercise, so 3.5lb lost in 3 weeks, yay. Cycle club ride done ahead of next Sundays 50 Frist week of start all over again runs completed Been to Tri-club swim session for 2 weeks in a row.
Now if I can just keep this up I might make it back to some degree of fitness for 2014
I always have porridge for breakfast - which is about 6am on a work day. If I have been running or something then I will have something (like a nakd bar or couple of rice cakes)when I get to work with my fennel tea (doesn't taste of anything) around 7:30 - 8ish. Then I have an apple at 10:45 (break time). Lunch, then normal tea.
However, I have too many cake type things - there are often cakes or biscuits at work. I sometimes have a crumpet for a snack when I get home from work. I probably have larger portions than I should too - I come from an era where you eat everything on your plate instead of stopping when you are full. I wasn't allowed to leave the table otherwise! I still remember trying to hide food that I didn't like - never worked though
1st brekkie around 5am go snd do something sporty for 3 or 4 hours then crack jnto 2 nd brekkie
Woke up this morning with back shoulder and neck in spasm and itsvgot worse throughout the day no idea whst caused it had quite an easy weekend also got some bad news a good freind died suddenly so gonna tske a couple of days of easy R &R
my sock stuffing has gone awol - did kettlebell dvd at home on friday and clunked my knee with the bell , legs ached hugely on saturday. On sunday I tripped in the spare room and clunked the other knee on the corner of the bed frame, somuch pain I thought I'd broken my kneecap so yesterday was hobbling on both legs.....
feeling better today, so will cycle to work tomorrow and see how it fares
Not doing any focussed training at the moment due to painful plantar facsiaitis. Did weights at the gym Saturday. Going to have time on cross trainer and rowing machine tonight.

Well done Ali
I marshalled at events for a total of 12 hours at the weekend. Can I claim it as training?
I'm in favour of a double breakfast, if you're up stupidly early breakfast time feels like lunchtime anyway.

Max, an easy weekend sounds just what you need for many reasons
Red Dog, having had a few foot issues in the past, be careful with the rower as there is a lot of pressure through the heels there IIRC

Empty beer bottle. Pop it in the freezer and then roll it under your foot when frozen. Oo, golf ball too!
