I'll definately be over for this one. Looks like most of my marathon training will be done alone again this year so it'll be great to meet up again with forum peeps for a run!
snap. determined to actually do some proper preparation for FLM this year, so shall be there too.
btw does anybody know if shops in richmond are open on Sundays ? H.I.D. will come along but she's not a fan of longer distances so would probably like to shop while I run . or any decent touristy things to do ? cheers vm
Think I'm going to do Bramley rather than this. A shame - it was good fun last year, although the "pacing" was all over the place (in my group at least).
If there's anyone out there who would like to train with me for a sub 3:45 ish marathon and is SW London based, it'd be good to have a training partner for those longer slogs!
Looks very good, this. However, as I do not drive a car (in the interest of the road safety statistics) I would like to know if this be reached by public transport (from Central London) What would be the nearest tube station? Alternatively, if some good soul is planning to drive to this event from West London (perhaps W12/W6/W3), and willing to give a lift, that would help as well ...
you would be best to get a train to Kingston and then a bus to Kingtson Bridge as it is a long walk across the park from Richmond... in fact it is a long walk from any train station... sorry I can't be of any further help...

I'm in the 9.30/mile group - anybody else going for that one too ?
Hiya Spans!
Shame this has to clash with Bramley 20
but a great run never the less.
wont be there this year as I have already booked all my pre mara races in.
Reading half the week after, and my (Hal Higdon's) training schedule calls for a 2 hour run. So, I'll be in the 8 min/mile group.
I have booked this one
Silverstone
2o miler as well
Like the fact that its free as well. These runs add up very quickly. Getting expensive this running lark, esp. as I got lots of fundraising as well.

Pace wise there's a few of us in the 3:30 t0 4:00 boat.
Where else would you be doing the long runs if you live SW?
