Whose lyrics were the best? Those of your local Worcestershire badger or those of some inbred forest stag in a sad attempt to infiltrate and win favour in our fair county?
There is only one spot for a singing mammal on here, and I claimed it as my own on 28th August with this...
Badger came from the Darkside URWFRC HItchhiked her way across the Malvern hills Plucked some slugs on the way Shaved her pelt and then she was a bit cleaner She says, Hey babe Take a walk on the wild side She said, Hey honey Take a walk on the wild side
And the foxes and rabbits go doo do doo do doo do do doo
I should be committed (!), depends on potential childcare problem, which depends on length of day planned, plus recruiting parents as child-minders, plus some other stuff...
Now, lyrics, call me thick if you like, but I need a suggestion for a tune from Mr Barkles, whereas Ms LDB picked a song that surely we all know and love...
Seems I am not either... where is your song from Barkles?
But you are right Crashie.... these things need to be done to songs we all know and love, otherwise the singer is just being deliberately obscure and showing off their musical knowledge
Well if you had sung it better I would have heard the melody and recognised it.
Sore loser? Non. Just the resident wild thing here. You can have a 6.30 am guest slot if you like, or perhaps take over for me on Mondays, subject to a lengthy probabtionary period however.
Well perhaps you could be foreign correspondent (I am stretching the boundaries of generosity here), but its up to KK and Crashie, the DLT and Mike Read of the Worcestershire airwaves.
LDB was out in your neck of the woods hashing last night, bloody hell they are a noise lot, but it was good fun first run where i had no idea where i was for a long time.
Gosh this is all getting too close to comfort, think I might go join the Scouser thread, at least there is not much danger of just having spent an hour and a half with one of them!!
"yep put the lights up in that corner, nah the water bed need to be in the middle" "How many tubes of KY did we get in?"
.....oops didn't realise i was on air. just getting things ready for the filming....sorry i mean customer event tomorrow evening. howdy out there, any chance of playing 'she be coming round the mountain' by psyadelic furs (can't spell psyadelic)
Jethro, I may have to rely on C's out of date gels (Oct 2004 - should be OK) I have had big sadness in the Badger dynasty as our great beloved grand badger matrairch has left us for the great sett in the sky and very emotional funeral on friday.
Crashie, please could you play 'Simply the best' for her, as she was.
That stream smelled like a sewer, Managed not to get my feet in it but could still smell it for a long way after. Enjoyed my down, down (well i suppose you can only be a virgin once!)
Comments

It wasn't the most beautiful of runs but hope you enjoyed jumping over the stream. I was lifted over by a gallant fellow!
