PPB - i think its 80euros not £80. probably still cheaper to take your own though. Venom and I have hired them for this time when we are only there for a week but are taking our own for the 2 weeks next spring.
I was out at La Santa last week with the family (at their request) and am thinking of doing the tri week in March - Candy the itinerary includes one outing on the bike course, most of the other bike sessions are two to three hours - bldy long enough in my opinion after last week - with either run or swim every day.
One advantage over P d C which we visited once is that there is plenty of other activities like windsurfing/tennis/football etc on tap.
The accommodation is very basic, but you are not in it much and generally the few times I have been at least it is warm even if it is windy. I have to say I am not sure who commended the food though other than in quantity terms......
I have to sort out my availability but will keep an eye on the thread and if there is a group going I will try and confirm by the deadline.
good points dermot, the main reason for favouring P del C was because the bike course is such a g!t that i wanted to get used to it the right way round (ie with the flattish easier bit at the start!). i agree that there's probably not much else going for it.
Hello. I've been lurking for ages but finally got round to subscribing.
I'm off to La Santa in November and would have loved some company but I'm going on my own this time. I'm sure I'll still have a good holiday, but I'd love to go again next year though if you'll let me join in - especially if it means I can join the Pirates - [shame yellow clashes with my skin colour ]
I've in my first season of Triathlons & not attached to a club yet.
debbo I am still keen to go the Club La Santa but not to do tri training only some running and a bit of x-training and maybe learn to swim a bit better. If a week is arranged I will try to make that week and meet up with a few folks if they want to meet me:))
