Update the site once every month or 2 weeks and if you are happy people send you stuff for inclusion,  you only need a forum name and they can be contacted through RW

You have a 2 month 'weed' on stuff so they are deleted after a period of time unless that person contacts you?

okey dokey, i'll give it some thought and search for something we can use.  i guess the easiest is if i just have a page opened for comments or something.  i have to approve all comments so if i don't know somebody i can delete it.  just state that all contact has to be via forum messaging, again i can delete email addresses etc.  if it turns to shite then we can think again.  i'll sort something out in the next week or so if only because i've gotta mountain of stuff to sell and it's a hassle to list it on ebay!

You could give a few people administrator rigths or something?     People will understand that this is a part time (albeit professional) occupation and things take time to happen/update !

i think if it's just approving comments it'll be fine time wise really as it's not like i've gotta a social life beyond 5pm any more!  happy to sort out admin rights for others though if there's a need - it would be nice if people could contribute directly to the site a bit more easily.  i was thinking alot of the good stuff nick, melli & others post just gets lost.  but if there was a controlled bit on the website they could answer questions there.   there's so much stuff you can do these days.  i even looked into setting up an alternative breakaway forum on the site.   no need for that htough given our coridial relationship with rw towers.

JD - I'd been thinking about something like this http://www.forumotion.com/ but I think it's overkill right now. The altenative would be to set up a Pirates yahoo group type scenario but that would mean everyone who subscribed would receive notifications. I think what you've done is fine.
