yeah, i think she had it sewn up from the start.

Her overall time to that point is 8:03:20.
She has 47 minutes and 23 seconds to finish 11.5 km of running.
She did her first loop in 43:48
She did her second in 44:15
She did the third in 45:51
While she's slowing -- she could very well still break this record!

RUN SPLIT 1: 10.5km 10.5km (7:28:47) 5:31/kmsub 4 then at the moment.looks liek macca didn't realise he was on for sub-8 too. after dawdling with teh crowd he had to leg it.
interesting to see if he can do it again at Roth next Sunday. He's on contract with them so has to turn out. I still think 2 IM distance races in a week is too much even for macca.
Mike's still going good. Looks like our clubmate Klaus is doing well too,1:08 swim and 5:19 bike.

Apparently Macca said he was fckd from the bike leg...never ridden that far in Germany before or summat.

cougie - did you not take the offer of normans bike and place then. Some very quick finishes, I wonder if Chrissie wellington regrets stopping for the flag, 30 seconds from being fastest IM woman ever.
Although winning 4 IM,s back to back is not too bad

4:11:36 for the run,
he did 11:51 when we all went to do IMDE06, so he's made over an hours improvement. 10 mins faster on the bike, 1 hour faster on the run. top race there, well paced.
and i think i predicted 4:10 eh.

something must have happened to him on the bike, I'm sure he has gone faster than that @ IMDE before, and though he was looking for something closer to 5 hours..
well done though still a great time...
looks like he learnt his lesson, C-Man. If he'd got closer to 5 hours on the bike he'd probably have been too fckd to run.
