Min - I just got an email supposedly from you, with no title and no text except the name of a website. I'm guessing it's a malicious mail or spam, so unless you tell me it's real I'm going to delete it unread.
Weather's changed - it's 28c and sunny today, 30c predicted tomorrow. Here we go again! It always seems to be bliddy scorching in Franky and Roth. Bet it'll be the same at Regensburg too.
its spam, i got one from her the other day, still, getting your email hacked is an occupational hazard when you are a crackwhore, so i have no symapthy for her!
oh dear, i really was hoping to avoid 30+ degrees for race day. i think if it is that i hot i will go with plan A and just sit in T2 till it cools down.
It bothers me too RC, 2 weeks ago at our club Oly it was blazing sun, I found my pulse kept climbing so high out on the run course it was hammering in my head like a cannon, I had to keep putting in walk breaks to bring it down again. Never spent so long on a 10km in my life. Found out after that lots of people on the sprint course had been walking the 5km.
Deb my only runs above half mara distance have been in training for this. I have done a 15, 17 and 19 mile. All very slow!! Then I went and got ill so had 3 weeks completely off training. I have been out this morning/dinner for last one. I had planned 20 miles but I knew it was never going to happen in the heat! Ended up doing 17 miles (with a bit of walking). Good news is the legs felt fine, it was just the heat and feeling like I had no energy. Feeling disappointed but hey ho, 6 miles last weekend (first run back from being ill) felt like major hard work so I can't grumble with 17. What will be will be!
Ill give you a cheer on the way round Aitch if I see you but I guess you could be in front of me with the missile you have doing the bike leg ...
Yes Mrs Wolf been on a 2 hr run today and pace was alot slower to relative HR. Was very hard work I must admit. Still at least if it is warm we will know what to expect...its just not pleseant I guess
Nearest airport is Nuernberg (not Nuremberg as usually misnamed in England), about 30km north of Roth.
Whats the next nearest airport? poss one I can get a train from?
Just im trying to avoid taking the Friday off work and looking for a flight from Manchester late afternoon, there is an early flight (to early) and a later flight (to late to get a connection the same day)
Hmm Frankfurt or Munich could be options? as im guessing I can get direct flights there, there is a 16.00 from Manchester direct to Frankfurt (the one im getting for IMDE).
Any advice greatly appreciated..
Trains Frankfurt to Nuremburg/Schwabach?
Car hire? looks like hiring a Corsa from Frankfurt for 5 days is £100ish?
I think there is registration on Saturday, if there isnt I'll have to fly on Thursday (unless someone can register for me).
If you were taking the relay seriously youd jump at the chance of picking me up at the airport as an excuse not to be tempted by a few beers on Friday evening!

Are we nearly there yet?
What is the best travel option if im flying? where is the nearest airport etc?
Im liking the sound of that, dont forget the knee pads!

weathermen now saying there's a heatwave on the way, 35c next weekend. Glad I'm not doing IMDE.
We've raced in 39c before now. I don't like heat!
Hmm heat worries me UI. Hope it cools a tad for Roth
Had a bad time a few years ago in heat and it zonked me out for 3 days and I wasnt even racing
