Mundane thread

  • Cosy - thank you image

  • I don't think I need a rock as I need to get this finished.  The shredder has over heated again so I can't do any more for half an hour, but I have been sorting through my university stuff.  Most of it is so out of date now that I am throwing it out.

It would be really nice if I could get this room finished today, but I think that is a bit over ambitious.

  • Oo yes come on in Bookie, plenty of space under here.

I've just dropped a note in to creepy neighbour about mundane things and said 'I just wanted to remind you that I have politely asked you not to talk to me. I know you don't mean to do any harm but it does harm' *feels proud*
  • Hopefully he will get the message eventually SOLB.

I'm feeling a bad mood coming on.  I just want a place to live that is mine, without having to work around anyone else!

  • If he ignores this note I feel within my rights to respond with 'don't talk to me' whenever he talks at me. If he corners me again I'll tell him to move. So sick of him making my life miserable.
  • I think you have been more than polite.  He needs to respect your private space.

  • When do you get the keys for the temporary house SCaz? Hopefully that will relieve some of the pressure.

Did you hear back from the interview or have they crawled under a rock too?

Things will get better, this won't last forever!

  • Next Wednesday, but I am in two minds as to whether it will help.  I might escape too much, when I really need to come back here and pack things up.

The agency has been quiet about the job.  I'm taking that as bad news as if they wanted to call me in for a second interview then they would have wanted to set a date with me.  I supose there is a very small chance that someone is off sick so the news hasn't been passed on...

  • Yep image If I lost my cool and told him to f*ck off and die I wouldn't feel guilty (but I would lose the moral highground and make things worse)

I'm going to email the housing guy to tell him what I've said cos creepy neighbour harasses them by phone all the time too so if Howard is forewarned hopefully he will be able to re-enforce it otherwise I'm going to have to accept the offer to move even though I can't afford to do another place up and here is fantastic for running. I can't go on like this much longer
  • Hmm I can see what you mean, hopefully it'll just give you some space to just be without worrying about someone else's feelings.

Do you want a hand packing and stuff next week? I don't have much on
  • (i could just man the shredder if it'd help free you up ... plus make tea of course!)

     I don't have much on

Well it is hot outside, so I can't blame you image

Just looked at my diary, and it appears I might not be here next week.  I agreed months ago to go visiting people, but not sure now whether that is a good idea or not.  So much to do and I can't really afford to take a full week out.  Hopefully I will have a better idea of what I am doing by Friday.

  • Maybe the visiting will make you feel a bit better.

Let me know if some help would be useful at any point, its an open offer x
  • I really appreciate that SOLB, and I will ahve to take you up on it at some point.

just went to get the washing in, walked past creepy neighbour who gave me an exceptionally sulky glare but didn't speak image

(Didn't do it on purpose, thought the coast was clear)
  • Great news SOLB!image

I've finished clearing out the cupboard from hell.  This was always going to be the worst one to tackle as there was so much stuff in there.  I still need to go through my part of the paperwork, but Hubby has given that a quick look through and separated his stuff from mine so hopefully that won't be too difficult.  To be honest, it could even wait until after the move except that I want to take as little as possible with me.

There is still an awful lot in this room to go through though image

  • Well done Caz image one step at a time honey xx

Pardon my language earlier, the bloke winding Bookie up just makes me cross, I'm sure he's a nice enough chap but I get fed up with his smart arsecomments. I'm all for personal responsibility but when I see people with a hel of a lot blaming people less well off or less well equipped to deal with some of life's problems for their own situation I just think its smug smug smug.

I have runned. 6 miles with hilly bits in just under 50 mins. Quite happy with that.

  • Puffy, you are only voicing what the rest of us feel, I suspect.

  • I hope it's productive Caz image

  • Morning. Well done Mouse! You haven't got a cold have you?

I went out with the beginners again at club last night and I wasn't at the back, yay. image

    Ha ha, no, no cold.

I read that Caz was on medication.

  • Morning all - I'm still fighting off the girlflu as well - going out for 8 miles in a wee while so I just took two's only from the neck up so I figure it's ok image

A wee bit wet and rainy here today - I don't mind - I don't really like running in the sun - I like sunbathing in the sun image
