Saffers the short will be to easy for you and you'll regret not doing the medium, mind you your husband would not thank you if you get him to do the medium. Best thing to do is for you to the medium and get LN and purple to take Mr Saffers round the short route. Simples
Hubby could do the medium but I think he would not be enjoying the last few miles. This is together time....LOL.....I really don't think he will buy me doing a different route to him! We were chatting about one that we had done previously, where we saw a husband and wife team at the start......the husband rode off and the wife struggled around and they met at the end. She didn't look happy. So we do these together if we enter together.......if I want to go faster, I don't ask him to come along.....simples.
I shall ask him which route he would prefer later.
Need to flog my Abingdon entry and actually sign up for this, but let's get it rolling. Apologies to everyone left off the list or misclassfified, but Schmunks will be along shortly
(I suppose I could click them blummin link really couldn't I?)
I'm fancying either medium or long. Flyers - what do you fancy? I would say I could do long but having only ridden half a dozen times since Germany I've probably lost all my fitness so medium may be a safer bet. Happy to be swayed by Ditchy into a group snogathon round the medium?
Medium is more than enough for me at this time of year, and with my two rides since Roth!
Also, having a gazillion jobs at the mo, plus the JW means I'm unlikely to become a cycling goddess before Oct 17th, so the medium will be enough suffering for one day! Plus it'll be on the winter bike, so one gear less (getting the excuses in early lol).
Would look to do the medium I think. You still thinking of running afterwards, Henny? How far?!

My mate Ben's up for this, assuming Mrs Ben doesn't mess things up by going into labour early. Wives can be *so* inconsiderate some times. Bedders was also threatening to do it as well, if he's in the UK that weekend.
Well of course I COULD do the long (is Ben, and if so, how come his name is not down for IMR yet?!), but 45 miles and a run off it is much better Ballbuster training, and I need to limit the amount of time I am already going to be chicked by (again!) with some specific training.
( BTW anyone else having trouble with the smileys with the latest version of firefox? grrrr...)
Everyone who has upgraded is AliAird. Some are easy ie but to do the rest, click your mouse over the smiley that you want and you'll see the code. Bit of a PITA though.

No Saffers I'm not trying to destroy your marriage, it was just a though. Probably best to stick to the short route then.

Have I said medium enough?

Will sign up for middle tomorrow when I have checked out some work stuff to make sure it doesn't clash.
Kangas swansong, Saffers on lumps, Bassy on a new velo and too damned fast to see me fall off again, it's a must do. Is Barlos tempted?
Might even get Lord H out on his pretty little Raleigh Chopper with the tassles and motorbike noises.
I THINK I might now have a pass for this!!
