Pippa - Lab: long legged blonde who runs rings around him
Smokie - Lab/GS cross - Old dog who gives him sloppy kisses but doesn't want to play
Karl - Westie - Bob can run faster than him and always gets to the ball first
Sammy - Bedlington Terrier - Bob's not so keen on her; but her mum is wow! and has a very fetching smile... so I'm pushing them closer together
Juno - Red Setter - RSW who still gives me a wave
Blimey - look at all the dog hair all over the thread
Welcome back TP - fab time had by the sound of things.Glad you're winning the grumpy ones over too. No deserting us Crapsters though - we need more people around to tell us how it's done.
I have no intentions of leaving, as I suspect I still have a lot to learn and I am bound to f*ck it up soon.
We are just about dried out after a very soggy walk along the Mersey. Dogs are currently arse-to-arse on the sofa asleep (pic on FB) so all is right with the world here

I don't remember the pretty villages of Exmoor from my youth, but do remember the stunning countryside, which can take on a dramatic backdrop in driving rain and hail.

The wrath of TP has been vented on BA. I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology or a refund. I won't be spending any more of my money with them either.
I have no intentions of doing anything to f*ck up this time but it just seems to be what happens but I'm going to try really hard not to.
I certainly wouldn't want to be on the end of that sort of fury
TP - you only have to get it right once. The rest is practise.
I was on my voluntary day yesterday. One of the ladies in the office was trying to set me up with a friend of her's. I did point out I'm unemployed, broke etc and she didn't seem to think is was an issue. Quite a few people have said that to me lately, so why do I think it's such a stumbling block? Maybe it's just a convenient excuse.
But, and it's a big but, if you are comfortable with your situation, and positive about the future, it needn't be a stumbling block. In fact, you might just find the perfect woman for you because of it - someone who sees you for you, not for the job you do or the money you are worth.
