I just meant in terms of determining what she is collie-crossed with, that's all... wouldn't infer anything from that in terms of her behaviour or whatever... just fancied knowing what's "in" her...
Nah, it's just money for nothing. She'll develop her own behaviours and it's just her. Like people it's a mix of nature and nurture but imho it's more nurture than nature.
I just wanted to know if there is any way of knowing what she is cross bred with, as she clearly collie-cross but looks part sight hound, part lab... Like I said I wouldn't expect test to infer anything about behaviour or whatever, just wanted to know if there is like a gene-breed test to know what breeds she has in her.
Ay up took a few days away for a festival that wasn't due a river that flooded and ended up spending lots of time with bookie instead it was bliss Scaned back a few pages but sure will have missed a lot so will just say Kara ((hug)) and
Oh and she decided that she's coming to Liverpool with me for the Marathon in October. (Whether I do it or not.. and to be honest it's extremely unlikely I'll be running it at the moment)
I have a large stripy cat that seems to have a bit of labrador in him. Have never known a cat to have such a sweet nature - most un cat-like. His sister is all cat - it's all about her and on her terms.
Getting ready for my trip to embra festival next week. Ended up booking a nice hotel - thought i'd treat myself, rather than spare rooms of friends or relatives. Turns out my parents and cousin will be up at the same time - large family gathering will be an unexpected bonus!
There is a rugby game on Saturday too - Scotland - Italy pre world cup warm up.
B*gger! I've just arranged to go into work on Saturday for a meeting . Sorry PS, some other time. Only arranged it about an hour ago .... I really fancy the rugby rather than yet another angst filled session on my ongoing employee issue.
Man flu ... blimey, you're lucky you survived that. Often fatal isn't it or is it just me who loses the will to live when there's a sufferer in the vicinity?
Just popping in to wish everyone a fab weekend and great week. I'm off to Wales in a bit for Race the Train tomorrow so will be back in a week or so (probably because that's how long it'll take me to do the race )... have a good one everybody! xxx
I'm very chuffed with myself. Just done my first double figure run in over 18 months. 10 whole miles. I'm also in danger of completing a 100 mile month. I promise to not turn into a running bore though.
Well done BDB that's always a milestone. I shall come and give you a few playful slaps if you ever do become a running bore, remember I know where you live.
Been a stressy week at work but it's nearly done and dusted now. Need to go in for a couple of hours tomorrow though. So, it's tidying, sorting and chucking, work, gym and then more of the tidying and sorting later on.
I have a guest arriving in a couple weeks time nothing like that to make me get to grips with my untidy cluttered existence.
No, I'm not that messy but I want to sort through clothes and book with a view to getting rid of stuff and I prefer to do that at weekend. By the time I get home at night I'm not in the mood. A good clean and tidy without that takes about 6 hours top to bottom.
Now there's a situation I am seldom in but there is frequently G but no T. Tonight I have both but I'm not in the mood for it. Couple of glasses of wine for me
I started the huge sort out earlier in the year and got as far as going through the cupboards and taking loads of stuff to the skips. I now have to get the other stuff done. I really need to go through the box room too but that's a bigger project.
I've got a couple of beers in the fridge but need to drink some more water first otherwise I'll have a head ache in the morning. Now that makes me sound old!
Not brilliant Have iced, ibuprofened and massaged and will head down for the first race (the 10K) and see how that goes. After that, I can decide about the 14 miler.

Nam, Tosh actually double tosh
Can you predict how humans will behave by looking at their ethnic origins? Nah, same with dogs.

Dammit! This is probably too late for you MO - but I *should* be at RtT too

Have fun Madame O

It's going to take you 2 weeks to tidy up? Just how messy are you? Mine only takes a day and I'm hardly house proud.
Sorry you've had such a crap week at work. Let me top that glass back up for you if that helps *tops glass*
<slurps>

Ah, the sorting out type of tidy. Now that, I am rubbish at.
Really fancy a G&T. But I don't have any G, ice, lemon or lime. And T on it's own wont cut it.
Now there's a situation I am seldom in but there is frequently G but no T. Tonight I have both but I'm not in the mood for it. Couple of glasses of wine for me

*adjusts ear trumpet* What's that you say dear?
How is the hip Frodo? Do you think you'll race?

Either way, I get to have beer tomorrow evening
