A 13 week old Bichon Frise called Rolo!
Not sure it will ever be a great running partner, but who knows! Kids are over themselves with excitement!

Personally I would not be doing anything near 2-3 hours during base on the turbo in fact my long ride is only starting to touch 2 1/2 hours towards the end of Base Period. The longest I ever did on a turbo was a 4 hour long ride during the peak phase when i had knackered my shoulder and couldnt ride on the road.
I always try to get my long ride in on the road no matter how bad the weather as it may be crap on race day and riding in all conditions improves your confidence and handling skills on the bike

4 hrs on a turbo!!! I think that earns more respect than actually doing an IM.
Managed 2 swims this week .About 40mins this morning, Actually felt like technique has improved just by reading swimsmooth.Have done no running though or biking since Sunday.
Can't wait for all the ice to go. Proper training starts Tuesday, (after Mondays rest day)
Am I the only one not running at the moment? I'm doing a bit on the turbo, but we still have freezing temps and ice all around, and I just dont want to risk running outdoors. My body is itching for a run, but my head over rules it!
Damn this ice!!! Another hour on the turbo I guess today.
