The 2013 Pirate Kit Order Thread (Take 2)

  • Mine (richardsdrr) arrived today. I ws gonna complain and send it back, but on closer inspection all the lumps and bumps were me, not the kit.

Big Shnorbitz kisses to u. Thanks.

  • Mine arrived today (I've emailed you).  Holy cow it's a bit tight!  Another reason to slim down.  I'll test it out on a run tomorrow morning and see how if it makes me faster!

oh, when I enter races, do you put down PSOF as my team now?

  • Caps received, thank you.

  • tops received. Thanks very much Schmunkee. They've revived the mojoimage

  • My lovely kit arrived, Thanks Schmunks for all your time and effort image

  • If anybody finds their new Medium kit too tight, ideally a Monaco, let me know, and I'll take it off your hands
  • likewise with a small cycling top/jacket.....

lets be honest.... its all prep for an Ironman on my 100th birthday
  • Might as well add my name for a Small Monaco or Tri shorts.

  • The kit's arrived thanks Schmunks.

  • Please can I ask once again that people DO NOT contact me on my personal FB page. I am trying to get some distance between myself as a forumite and as the kit coordinator

Also, the kit order is now becoming a monster with over 100 people on it and it's now causing more work trying to work between real names and profile names

I have asked that people put their forum name as part of the email title. It would really really help me if people did comply with this request

I am sorry to whinge as you may feel it's not that big an issue, but failing to do these two simple things causes me a lot of extra work, especially when it's not just one or two of you

Also, I am now wondering whether the time has come for someone else to take over the role of kit coordinator as I feel I have done everything I can to make the kit order run smoothly yet it is a still quite a large drain on my personal time, especially when I ask for people to make it easier for me and simple requests aren't considered

  • Kit arrived this morning... really pleased!

Schmunks, can I join the large chorus of voices thanking you for the huge amount of effort you must put into this.

lets be honest.... its all prep for an Ironman on my 100th birthday

  • Kit arrived. Thanks for all your work Schmunkee.

If there are any Large tops that don't fit I would be interested.

  • Hi Schunks, many thanks for the kit order. If you know anyone who would like to swap their XL Monaco for my XXL please let me know.

Similarly if anyone has got their sizing wrong like me, and who has received their kit and realised they need a bigger Monaco, I am looking to swap my XXL for a XL.

  • My jacket is starting to look less new and well worn, you can't have a cycle jacket without oil, grease & mud can you.

Great pice of kit though, thanks List Fairy you're a star.

  • Mine ended up going to the dry cleaners in the end. It's a darn sight better than it was. It's not pristine, but then I never wanted it to be anyway.
