Does the marathon site tell you immediately if you've got a place or do you have to wait? Did this last year and am thinking of giving it a second bash (as I messed up royally that time!!)

Jen - Dublin accepts all entries up to the closing date, which is usually 2 weeks before the race. There is no limit on no. of entries!!

If the Georgian has any room left, it looked quite good. Some of us are going there. Get your accommodation booked soon though as this is a Bank Holiday in Ireland.

Snails Pace is thinking about it. There is hope yet. Need cheap accommodation as in CHEAP!!!!!. But really folks I would love to do this but am not sure if I could get fit enough. Snails Pace is looking at accommodation so will leave it to her.

We have just booked self catering appartments near temple bar. Millenium appartments, £117 for an appartment for 3 for 2 nights. They have other bigger ones available and the deposit is very low. We paid £7 thats all.

Gulp, that makes it look likeI might be coming after all......
