    Hi WP.

I would think the most uncomfortable time in a 24 hour race is when all your body wants to do is sleep. At least with all those nights on call Hippo you will have some idea what that is like and have no need to train for it.

I was thinking of a low mileage/more speedwork approach to this one - but a 24hr race is a different ball game. Which one is it again?

FR - I'm not doing a 24 hr until July, my peak mileage is going to be Dec/Jan/Feb, then my mileage will drop as I'll be racing most weeks. You know, the odd ultra and marathon (where I keep seeing you!)
  • Options
For anyone flying to Glasgow, there is a direct coach service (Scottish Citylink) from the airport to Fort William, taking 2 hours 45 mins.

Basking Shark - Lochaber will only be number 3 for me too, unless I get in to London, in which case it might be number 4 - if I am fit enough to do marathons 2 weeks in a row. or mad enough.

Yeah, but you are all experienced marathon nutters, I'm not.

You've done lots more than me though, and ultras too, so that means you are a more experienced nutter!
