The weather has got to improve PS!
Manic evening here, mini came over & hogged the computer ;-)

And then off to Morocco on Sunday. Can't wait, really really need a holiday!

Just going for a week. Much needed holiday though. Started to get really down with the whole being poorly thing. Started to affect my mental health as well as the physical. Mike is really tired with work too so we both need the break. Will be great.
Gonna take my running stuff and enjoy a run along the beach I think.
Ally - No wonder you are looking forward to the holiday after what you have been through. I hope that you enjoy it and come back fighting fit and healthy.

Had my hospital appointment this morning about my leg and I have been ORDERED to loose weight. He says I have to loose a minimum of 2 stone and pref 3.1/2 stone. the weight I carry is having an effect on my bad leg and is not aiding the drainage of the fluid as it has a hard enough time due to a blockage. He says because of the dangers of the swelling I qualify under the NHS for appetite suppresent tablets which he gave me a letter to take to my practice to get. He also says he wants me to get fitter and do more exercise. I told him I have been running and have just run a marathon but he says I need to do more!!!!!!
Looks like the chocolate and the wine are going to have to go by the wayside. I have other treatment to get over the next few months and he wants to see me in December after having the treatment and although says he doesn't expect 3.5 st off by then he is looking at at least 1 st.
Can I make that an excuse to eat all weekend and start on Monday then?????

Now a stone by December is about half a 1lb a week, so very achievable, just eat smaller portions, there you go, a doddle ;-))

I know what you mean... At least I can hand the grandchildren back. When we were camping last week it was great to go back to our tent and leave the parents to get kids to bed while we enjoyed a further glass of wine in peace and quiet.
would like to loose a fair bit for my holidays though bodjit.
I really don't want to be negative but I had those tablets for a while and what I discovered was that if I wouldn't have been fat if I stopped eating when I was full.
So, it's great they do stop you feeling hungry but you then have to have the will power to not eat if you are not hungry.
You will do it Speedy, you will.
I envy you all of to Morocco on Sunday. Worked out it is still 14 weeks to my holidays. Oh thats way too long away.
ally - if you are not around tomorrow night have a great holiday. Take it easy, enjoy the warmth, the food and the drink and come back raring to go.

My cats gone awol. He's supposed to be going to the cattery this morning and he's not bothered coming in for breakfast.
He's far to clever for his own good, obviously knows somethings going on!!
