My first marathon too. I have to say, so far BB, Stickless and Adverse Camber have been brilliant with their emails. Thank you guys!
I'm off to expo tonight, and just can't seem to control the butterflies anymore! I am also not sure whether it is wise to let me loose in a place where there is a lot of shopping with this much adrenaline going throught the body! The credit card is about to be hit hard!!
Delia, I'm with you, I'm hoping to go round with the GYR pacer group, I'm starting at the Red Start too. I'm running for the RNLI so will be wearing a bright orange vest.

I go shopping on Sat am, and would be prepared to do a run. Shall we start a list:

If people haven't offered to bring by Sat am when I do the Sainsbury's run, I will try and provide. Bananas might be a problem (likely to suffer in a backpack) so I'd be happy if someone else could provide those.

Went last year with my then-bf who was running, was quite impressed with the sheer volume of stuff available, more impressed with myself for managing not to buy anything.

I haven't emailed yourself, BB or Adverse Camber, sorry. All I require, I hope, is encouragement as I go past! I will cetainly look out for you all and give a wave. Hopefully I won't need to stop, but if things go pear shaped then mile 17 is where I'll head to get help! As I've got no family with me on the day it's nice to know I'll have friendly faces cheering me at some point on the course!
